We are immensely proud to announce that our very own Sultan, 𝗕𝗿𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗻, the sole representative of Mindanao in the prestigious “𝗠𝗴𝗮 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝗴-𝗮𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘀,” garnered 𝟭𝟬𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 nationwide.

This national recognition celebrates Mr. Dumaloan as a 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻—a medical student who embodies global competence, proactive leadership, and deep social accountability. It is with profound regret that the Student Council announces that the Mindanao State University - College of Medicine was made unable to participate in this year’s APMC National Convention.

Despite an exhaustive due process and several desperate measures, the MSU Office of the President has declined the issuance of a Travel Order, citing Memorandum Circular No. 114, which restricts official travel to only “essential and indispensable functions.” While we acknowledge its relevance to the current geopolitical landscape, we emphasize that this travel constitutes justifiable and necessary engagement, with clear urgency and direct programmatic relevance to medical education and professional development.

This decision stripped 𝟭𝟳 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝗦𝗨𝗮𝗻𝘀 of the chance to represent our institution and the entire Mindanao Region on a national stage. Furthermore, our Sultans have been denied the vital opportunity to sharpen their skills, share their insight, and foster connections that would have enriched our medical community.

𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁
While the outcome is not what we fought for, the journey revealed the incredible strength of our community. We extend our deepest gratitude to:

• Our SC Adviser, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻-𝗘𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗼, your fervent support and the tireless hours spent navigating the logistics of flights and accommodations.

• 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿𝘀: Your belief in us was tangible. You opened doors for students who truly deserved them, and your generosity will not be forgotten.

In accordance with the resolutions from the 2nd General Assembly held on March 28, 2026, the Student Council presents the official breakdown of the ₱𝟭,𝟰𝟲𝟰.𝟬𝟬 Student Council Fee for the 2nd semester of AY 2025-2026. Collection of this fee will commence 𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟯𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, and conclude on 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟮𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

All payments should be submitted to your respective Internal Batch Treasurer, who will then remit the funds to the Student Council Treasurer by the specified deadline.
