Last September 19, 2026, the Kabataang Ekonomistas gathered at the MPH for the ๐™‚๐™š๐™ฃ๐™š๐™ง๐™–๐™ก ๐˜ผ๐™จ๐™จ๐™š๐™ข๐™—๐™ก๐™ฎ. It was more than an assembly. Each moment and corner was filled with their nostalgic childhood memory. From the ๐™จ๐™–๐™ง๐™ž-๐™จ๐™–๐™ง๐™ž ๐™จ๐™ฉ๐™ค๐™ง๐™š ๐Ÿช to the typical ๐™ ๐™–๐™ฃ๐™ฉ๐™ค setup, the Ekonomistas felt like carefree children once again.

Of course, itโ€™s not your typical Filipino gathering if thereโ€™s no ๐™ ๐™–๐™ฃ๐™ฉ๐™–๐™๐™–๐™ฃ๐ŸŽค ๐™–๐™ฃ๐™™ ๐™จ๐™–๐™ฎ๐™–๐™ฌ๐™–๐™ฃ๐Ÿ’ƒ ๐™จ๐™š๐™จ๐™จ๐™ž๐™ค๐™ฃ. Several groups of Kabataang Ekonomistas proved that the majority of Filipino kids are talented ever since and the ๐™—๐™ž๐™—๐™ค ๐™ ๐™ž๐™™ energy has always been there.

Overall, the event fulfilled its purpose. To gather the ekonomistas, socialize, and discuss the future plans for the society.

With the theme "Nostalgic Pinoy Kanto," the venue became a little piece of homeโ€“ filled with games, classic Filipino vibes, and memories that somehow never get old. From the laughter and kwentuhan to the moments that felt straight out of our childhood afternoons, we proved that no matter how far we go, there's always a little batang kanto in us.

For a day, we went back to the era where happiness was simple: may barkadahan, may laro, may kantahan, at may sayawan.

JES wasn't just a society of kabataang ekonomistaโ€“ isa rin tayong barakadahang tambay sa kanto. ๐Ÿ’š
