The 2nd Administrative Meeting of the College of Science and Mathematics - Student Council was held last September 11, 2026, via Google Meet. It gave the council the chance to lay out the Calendar of Activities for the 1st semester, as well as future events for the next semester.

The council mapped out the events and programs planned for the coming months, along with the preparations they will need. It also set the date for the council's Strategic Planning. In addition, the officers voted on the Official Uniform and ID Template, as well as proposing a merch design contest open for all CSM students to participate in designing the sets of college merchandise for this academic year.

The council remains committed to delivering well-planned, student-centered programs throughout the academic year. Together, we look forward to a year that brings the CSM community closer and reflects our commitment to excellence.

The College of Science and Mathematics - Student Council (CSM-SC) kicked off the semester with its 1st Administrative Meeting to propose the events to be conducted during the 1st semester, as well as the final adjustment to the committee structure, last August 21, 2026, via Google Meet.

During the session, the council worked on the proposed booths and activities for the upcoming World Mental Health Day, to be set on October 9, 2026. Moreover, the council also proposed collaborating with other colleges for the General Assembly and Acquaintance Party to minimize expenses relating to the venue and technical requirements.

The meeting concluded with the council to continue identifying and recruiting undersecretaries to provide additional manpower for committees with demanding operations.

Fifty-four years ago, the signing of Proclamation No.1081 marked one of the darkest chapters in Philippine history. Today, as we commemorate the 54th anniversary of the declaration of Martial law, we honor the courage of those who fought, suffered, and sacrificed to reclaim our civil liberties and rights.

We do not remember the past to grieve; we remember so we can stand firm in the present. Against fascism, historical amnesia, and every attempt to erase the cost of our freedom, we remember, we speak, and we refuse to forget.

May we carry the stories of yesterday and stand united for a future where freedom prevails.

As the Council Adviser, Prof. Malacas shall provide guidance and oversight in the Councilโ€™s activities and initiatives, while helping ensure accountability, transparency, and proper governance throughout the council's term.

This appointment marks another step toward strengthening a student council grounded in responsible leadership, meaningful service, and transparent governance.
