MSU-IIT is proud to launch the Philippines’ first standalone BS in Microelectronics Engineering (BSMEE) beginning Academic Year 2026–2027. This pioneering program focuses on integrated circuit (IC) design, semiconductor fabrication, and advanced testing, tailored for STEM graduates. Students will gain hands-on experience with industry-standard EDA software and benefit from direct pipelines to global semiconductor firms.

Announcement regarding Assessment Fees indicated in the Certificate of Registration (COR)

The Certificate of Registration (COR) issued to students reflects total assessment fees. However, these fees do not require payment to the Cashier’s Office. As a Higher Education Institution covered by Republic Act No. 10931 (Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act), MSU-IIT provides free tuition and other school fees for all enrolled students.

While tuition and standard school fees are waived under RA 10931, certain program-specific requirements remain. For BS Nursing students, the Related Learning Experience (RLE) Fee must be settled within the semester. This fee supports the practical training and clinical exposure integral to the nursing curriculum.

Awarding of the Robert Schappert Scholarship Program

The Office of Admissions, Scholarships and Grants (OASG) facilitated the awarding of the Robert Schappert Scholarship Program, a one-time grant supporting deserving students in their academic journey.

This year’s recipient is Ms. Norjannah Abdullah, a graduating student from the Bachelor of Arts in Literary and Cultural Studies (BALCS) program, who received ₱6,000.00 in financial assistance. The allowance release was facilitated by Mr. Jhone Mychale I. Mariquit, the liaison officer of the grant.

This scholarship reflects the program’s commitment to helping students achieve their educational goals.

Orientation for all First-Year Undergraduate Program Advisers

The Office of Admissions, Scholarships and Grants (OASG) held the orientation on June 10, 2026, at the University Amphitheater, CED, MSU-IIT.

Freshmen advisers received key updates on admissions, enrollment, academic policies, and scholarship opportunities to better support incoming students.

NOTICE TO MSU-IIT FRESHMEN APPLICANTS

Notices of Admission have already been sent to the registered email addresses of qualified applicants, covering 70% of the university's absorptive capacity. This constitutes 1960 slots out of the 6736 applicants in the portal.

Applicants who have not yet received a Notice of Admission are advised to await further announcements, as additional notices may be issued to fill available slots should some qualifiers decline their admission offers.

Once the 70% absorptive capacity has been fully occupied, the ranking process for the additional 10% absorptive capacity under the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusivity (EDI) will commence.

Applications are now open for the One-Time Grant under the CHED Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) for enrolled MSU-IIT students residing in the 1st District of Lanao del Norte for the 1st Semester, AY 2025–2026.
