Today, Iliganons celebrate in faith and joy as we honor St. Michael the Archangel, the beloved patron and protector of Iligan City.

May his courage and unwavering devotion inspire us to stand for what is good, extend compassion to others, and remain strong in times of challenge. As we celebrate the Diyandi Festival, may we continue to cherish the faith, traditions, and diverse cultures that make Iligan truly one.

With grateful hearts and joyful spirits, let us celebrate this special day with one another.

𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗥𝗢𝗟𝗟 | 𝟱𝗧𝗛 𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗦𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚

The College of Education Legislative Body convened for its 𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 on 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 via Google Meet, with the attendance roll formally conducted at the start of the session, establishing the presence of a quorum.

The meeting focused on the second reading of Resolution No. 08, the sponsorship and deliberation of Resolution Nos. 14 and 15, and other matters including CED Days, World Mental Health Day, and CVG Matters.

Sa panahon ng Batas Militar, hindi lamang mga kalayaan ang sinupil, kundi maging ang kalayaang magturo, matuto, magtanong, at magsalita. Sa mga silid-aralan, ang edukasyon ay hindi dapat maging kasangkapan ng takot o pananahimik, kundi isang puwang kung saan malayang nahuhubog ang mapanuri at mulat na mamamayan.

Sa pag-alala natin sa mga g**o at mag-aaral na tumindig sa isa sa pinakamadilim na yugto ng ating kasaysayan, hindi natin kinakalimutan ang mga g**o na patuloy na humaharap sa mga hamon ng edukasyon ngayon.

Kaya ang paninindigan para sa g**o ay paninindigan din para sa isang edukasyong malaya, makatarungan, at hindi natatakot sa katotohanan. Dahil ang g**ong malaya ay nagtuturo ng mga mag-aaral na malayang mag-isip.

The CED - Student Council, together with the Society Mayors and SIDLAK EIC, convene for the CED Strategic Planning for Academic Year 2026–2027 this September 19, 2026, at the DPRE Conference Room.

The session features the presentation and deliberation of proposed projects and initiatives, including the discussion of PAGMATUTO as a college-wide initiative, aimed at fostering collaboration, aligning plans, and advancing meaningful student-centered service across the College of Education.

𝗖𝗘𝗗-𝗦𝗖 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗨𝗦𝗘𝗖 𝗼𝗻𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴

As the College of Education Student Council (CED-SC) continues to build its administrative structure for the academic year, newly appointed Undersecretaries (USECs) underwent an onboarding and orientation session Friday, September 18 at CED Room 205.

The session served as an initial working briefing for the newly appointed officers, covering the council’s organizational rules, responsibilities, and expectations attached to their respective positions.

Rather than serving solely as an introduction to their offices, the orientation provided the USECs with a clearer understanding of how their individual functions contribute to the broader operations of the student council.

The activity also emphasized the importance of accountability and coordination among officers as the USECs begin carrying out their assigned responsibilities and supporting the council’s programs and services for CEDtizens.

With the appointment of the new undersecretaries, the CED-SC further establishes its working structure by placing officers in positions tasked with assisting in the implementation and coordination of council initiatives.

The onboarding marks the first step for the newly appointed USECs as they transition from appointees into active members of the council’s working administration, guided by the standards and responsibilities set for their offices.
