🚧 Training Induction Program for Scaffolding Works NC II 🚧

In partnership with TESDA Lanao del Norte, we proudly kick off the Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP) for Scaffolding Works NC II!

Today marks the beginning of a meaningful journey for our trainees as they take their first steps toward building a better future. Through this scholarship, they will develop the skills, knowledge, and right attitude needed to succeed in the construction industry.

Let us continue to inspire, empower, and support one another as we move forward on this path to success.

The event was attended by Sammy A. Ampang -TESDA Lanao del Norte Scholarship Focal, In lieu of Provincial Director Norayah A. Acas, reinforcing strong support for industry-aligned skills training in Iligan City.

Typhoon Uwan continues to rapidly intensify while moving west-northwest toward Catanduanes and Aurora. It is not expected to make landfall in Mindanao, but its wide circulation will still bring cloudy skies, scattered rainshowers, and occasional thunderstorms across Northern Mindanao, including Iligan City.

𝐖𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐈𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲
𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐬: No Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal over Iligan City as of this bulletin.
𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞: Around 70–80% probability of light to moderate, sometimes heavy rains due to the outer rainbands of Typhoon Uwan.
𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Generally light to moderate, but may become gusty, especially along coastal and upland areas.
𝐒𝐞𝐚 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Moderate to rough seas (up to 2–3 meters). Small boats and fisherfolk are strongly advised not to venture out due to risky sea travel conditions.

𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐬
- Localized flooding in low-lying or poor drainage areas.
- Landslides possible in hilly or mountainous barangays after prolonged rain.
- Occasional power interruptions may occur due to wind gusts or thunderstorms.

✅𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬
- Stay alert for ICDRRMO advisories and updates from PAGASA and the City Government of Iligan.
- Avoid rivers and their tributaries that are prone to sudden rise in water level.
- Secure loose objects outdoors; check roofs and drainage systems.
- Keep emergency supplies ready and report any incidents to local authorities.

Typhoon Uwan will not directly affect Iligan City but may bring intermittent rains and gusty winds over the weekend.

The City Government and ICDRRMO continue to monitor the situation closely and coordinate with barangays to ensure timely warnings and updates.

We are hoping to be granted the budget we requested for, if not higher, para mas marami pa tayong matulungang kababayan na magkaroon ng training. Para: 🎓Mas maraming scholarships at allowances, 🏫Mas maayos at mas modernong training facilities, 👨‍💻At mas maraming bagong courses na tugma sa mga in-demand jobs ngayon. Mas marami tayong kababayan ang makakakuha ng de-kalidad na training na magbubukas ng mas magagandang trabaho at oportunidad. Kaya sana po, suportahan natin ang mas malaking budget para sa TESDA, dahil bawat dagdag na pondo ay dagdag na pag-asa para sa ating mga kababayan. #SaTESDAKayangKaya #TESDABest #KikoBenitez
