As a preemptive measure to safeguard the health, safety, and well-being of our learners and personnel amid the prevailing high heat index, DepEd Iligan City is SUSPENDING face-to-face classes today (August 12, 2026).

Schools are advised to shift to the most appropriate Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) to ensure the continuity of learning while minimizing exposure to potentially hazardous heat conditions.

We enjoin everyone to remain vigilant, stay hydrated, and take the necessary precautions against heat-related health risks.

The health and safety of our learners and personnel remain our utmost priority.

June 08 marks the official opening of classes and the beginning of a new academic year at Acelo C. Badelles Sr. Memorial High School.

The Opening Program and Orientation served as an opportunity to warmly welcome our learners and provide important announcements, reminders, and guidance for the school year ahead. As students return to the campus, we look forward to a year filled with learning, growth, achievement, and meaningful experiences.

Beyond Brigada: Serving, Educating, and Inspiring!

The Senior Red Cross Youth of Acelo C. Badelles Sr. Memorial High School extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Red Cross Youth Iligan City Chapter for their support during Brigada Eskwela 2026. Through their volunteer efforts, they helped clean and prepare our school, creating a safer and more welcoming environment for our learners.

They also facilitated a Reading Remediation Program for Grade 7 students and distributed informational brochures on heat safety, providing guidance on how to stay safe during the extreme heat currently being experienced in Iligan City.
