Please be informed everyone that the 1:00โ€“5:00 PM events will be held at the Barangay San Miguel Covered Court instead of the AMCC campus.

This change is due to the lack of a roofing/cover at the AMCC basketball court, which would expose everyone to the heat and direct sunlight. Additionally, the AMCC MPH is currently under construction, making it unavailable for use.

We understand that this change may cause some inconvenience, but these circumstances are beyond our control, and we hope for everyoneโ€™s kind understanding and cooperation. Thank you!

DUYOG AMCCians 2026 is held in celebration of Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa and in recognition of the International Day of the Worldโ€™s Indigenous Peoples.

Our main theme, โ€œTangkilikin ang Sariling Atin: Pagka-Pilipino ay Buhayin,โ€ is broad, celebrating Filipino identity, language, heritage, traditions, arts, and diversity.

The Batang 90s is the official dress code, chosen to highlight Filipino popular culture. We chose it instead of requiring cultural attire because traditional clothing may carry specific meanings and significance to the communities they belong to. Making them a required costume could lead to misrepresentation or cultural appropriation.

The selected cultural community names are used solely for cultural awareness and appreciation, not to portray, imitate, or claim any cultural identity.

Ultimately, our goal is to celebrate Filipino culture without disrespecting the communities who preserve itโ€”to learn from our diversity, respect its meaning, and appreciate our Filipino heritage responsibly. ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿค

This statement is shared to keep everyone informed, and to ensure all teams have ample time to bond, prepare together, and grow in unity as one caring AMCC community.

We would like to gently remind everyone that the names you carry are not just team names โ€” they are filled with deep history, heritage, and the stories of generations. That is why we hold them with care and act with thoughtfulness and honor at all times. Let us love and respect one another, celebrate together, and enjoy this wonderful event freely โ€” without any bias or discrimination.
