DECEMBER 1 – OFFICIAL FIRST DAY AT ZRC TRAINING CENTER CEBU

Today marks an exciting milestone as all 3rd-year students from Lyceum of Iligan Foundation /Lyceum of Iligan Foundation - College of Maritime Education officially arrived at the ZRC Training and Assessment Center - Cebu for the start of our training journey. From the moment everyone stepped through the doors, the energy, excitement, and anticipation filled the atmosphere.

It’s the beginning of a new chapter—one that will challenge us, shape our skills, and help us grow not only as trainees, but as future professionals.
Our first day was highlighted by the orientation, where we were introduced to the guidelines, expectations, and opportunities awaiting us throughout the training program.

Meeting fellow trainees, reconnecting with classmates, and seeing everyone ready to take the next step made the day even more meaningful.

As we move forward, we carry with us the commitment to learn, the determination to improve, and the motivation to make the most out of every moment here. Here's to new lessons, new experiences, and a journey that will prepare us for greater achievements ahead.

Lyceum of Iligan Foundation Conducted It's Initiation Rites at the LIF Ground!

The MSBO PRESIDENT and ALL MSBO OFFICERS, are truly proud of each one of you. Congratulations, BSMT First Year, for surviving the Reception Rites. This is just the beginning of your maritime journey!

Initiation Rites or Reception Rites is a long honored tradition of the Institute. In that day dignified the entry of the cadets to the Lyceum of Iligan Foundation, conducted through series of challenges to gauge their physical and mental strength to test and prove the determination of midshipmen and midshipwomen that came aboard. The Initiation Rites also signifies the warm welcome extended to those chosen to bear the distinguished title as true-blooded LIF cadets.

With the collaboration of the Maritime Student Body Organization (MSBO) and Corps of Midshipmen (COM), thanks to our Brigade Commander Joshua R. Peros they have successfully conducted the Initiation Rites of Class 2025-2026. Congratulations to all those cadets who have successfully passed and survived. The upcoming extreme challenges and crippling mental pressure you will encounter in your academic year will prepare you to become future competent seafarers of the Lyceum of Iligan Foundation. Welcome aboard, cadets!
