Not every milestone is measured by the day you receive your diploma. Some are measured by every late night that no one saw, every challenge that made you question yourself, and every decision to keep going when giving up seemed easier. Today is a celebration of all those moments—and of the people who turned them into something extraordinary.

The Junior Information Technology Society (JITS) proudly celebrates the graduates of Information Technology and Information Systems students of Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology, Batch 2026.

For years, you transformed classrooms into spaces of innovation, laboratories into places of discovery, and ideas into solutions that reached beyond the screen. You learned that technology is more than writing code, designing systems, or analyzing data—it is about creating meaningful change for the people who will one day use what you build.

There were projects that demanded more than technical skill, deadlines that tested your resilience, presentations that challenged your confidence, and moments when success felt just out of reach. Yet with every obstacle, you chose to learn, adapt, and move forward.

That perseverance is what defines you today.

As Information Technology and Information Systems graduates, you now step into a world that evolves faster than ever before. The technologies you know today will continue to change, but the curiosity that brought you here, the discipline you developed, and the integrity you carry will always remain your greatest strengths.

May you never lose the courage to explore new ideas, the humility to keep learning, and the determination to create technologies that make life better for others. Whether you become software engineers, system analysts, cybersecurity professionals, data specialists, UI/UX designers, project managers, entrepreneurs, or innovators in fields yet to be imagined, may your work always leave a meaningful impact.

To every graduate, thank you for the legacy you've left within the College of Computer Studies and the JITS community. Your journey has inspired those who follow, reminding them that every challenge is an opportunity to grow and every dream is worth pursuing.

As you turn the page to your next chapter, remember that this is not the finish line—it is your launch point.

𝗧𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀.

A graduating student of the BS Information Technology (Network Systems) program, 𝗝𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝘂 𝗦𝘂𝗯𝗮-𝗮𝗻 entered into eternal rest after battling against Non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) on July 3.

In these trying times of tribulations, we lament in sorrow and embrace in comfort with her family. During her obsequies, financial support and prayers are very much appreciated. The academic community mourns, and we extend our help in our own modest ways.
