The Junior Information Technology Society successfully led a series of engaging sessions during the Research Week 2026 held on April 20, 2026 at the College of Computer Studies.

From exploring the future of development in AI in WebDev, to strengthening foundational knowledge in the PC Seminar, and fostering collaboration through the Stakeholders Breakout Session, the day highlighted innovation, learning, and community-driven insights.

JITS continues to create spaces that empower students to connect theory with real-world applications and industry trends.

Last December 13, the Junior Information Technology Society (JITS) successfully conducted the MyICT Workshop: Canva Edition. The session focused on guiding participants in creating informational websites using Canva as a platform.

Participants developed their own website concepts, ranging from business ideas to personal hobbies and interests. Through the workshop, they learned how to organize content, apply design principles, and present information in a clear and engaging format.

The activity aimed to strengthen students’ digital creativity and practical ICT skills by introducing accessible tools for website creation. It highlighted that effective online platforms can be built through thoughtful design and purposeful content.
