Another year older, another year wiser, and another year of pretending you have everything under control. As our Philosophy Mayor, you’ve survived meetings, deadlines, announcements, and the legendary “Mayor, update?” messages.

Today, your only responsibility is to enjoy, eat good food, take cute pictures, and accept the fact that you’re getting older. No committee concerns allowed. Birthday privilege.

CASsnaps: CAS U-ROCK on August 27, 2026

CAS Students are back at it again with another successful U-ROCK outreach program!

Starting off the outreach with a prayer from one of the philosophy students, Rodmarc G. Bravo, has provided the evangelical spirit that the event needed. Along with the opening remarks from Yfha Marlteya V. Hajan, and the introduction to remind the students and the audience of what the CAS-U ROCK is all about given by Kierstine Nicole S. Ranara.

Then we head on over by an ice breaker given by the psychology students, spreading enthusiasm around the room. A lovely storytelling session with Albert Decorion Jr. and Mark Lester Delos Angeles followed, showing off their love of literature itself.

Another Ice breaker from the psychology students, followed by a catechism lesson by Rodmarc Bravo.

Calming down, Kierstine Ranara presented an excellent inspirational message along with a word of thanks for the Staff in charge and the Students involved in the outreach.

Ending off this successful event with Bravo, we close yet another chapter of CAS U-ROCK outreach program.

These students and the whole CAS Community showed that faith, excellence, and service should not be taught only within the four walls of a classroom . To serve, we must step out. To excel, we must collaborate to give the best service to those who are in need. To have faith is to do all these things for His glory.

SDG SUMMIT 2026: A Champion Speaks!

We had the privilege of presenting one of our College of Arts and Sciences' community outreach initiatives-Tambayayong sa Kabataan: UROCK.

"Sustainable development begins when we recognize that local action contributes to global goals. Through our knowledge, capabilities, and spirit of volunteerism, we transform what we learn in the classroom into meaningful community service-especially for the Lost, the Least, and the Last, those who are often most vulnerable and most in need of someone willing to listen and respond.

For us, U ROCK begins with you, me, and us taking Responsibility, creating Opportunities, embodying Christ, and sharing our Knowledge. It reminds us that service is not about having everything to give, it is about being willing to give what we can, within our capabilities, to those who need it most.

Knowledge may give us something to share, but volunteerism gives us the willingness to share it. When knowledge becomes experience, experience develops into responsibility, and responsibility becomes service.

We listen. We respond. We serve. And that is Tambayayong sa Kabataan."

Education reaches its highest purpose when rooted in empathy, character building, and active community service. Values are not just taught inside classrooms—they are lived out where support is needed most.

"Learning is more meaningful when it reaches the community. Today, we are able to conduct our 'Tambayayong sa Kabataan' once a month! The CAS truly appreciates how aligning with the SDGs strengthens and elevates our mission. In our batch, we conducted numerous U-ROCK initiatives that supported Bahay Pag-asa in Santiago, and I sincerely hope the next batch will continue this legacy of service."
