Chancellor Ditucalan addressed students at the Mental Health Awareness Forum, one in a series of activities programmed this October by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Services.

October is Mental Health Awareness Month.

In honor of World Teachers’ Day, Chancellor Alizedney M. Ditucalan pays tribute to his own teachers, and to the members of the faculty in the Institute.

Today, September 20, Iligan City celebrates the Pakanaug, a rite that marks the start of the 9-day novena in honor of its patron saint, Michael the Archangel, whose feast is celebrated every 29th of September.

The Pakanaug is a festive occasion where the image of the patron saint is brought down from its place at the altar of the St. Michael Cathedral to the chants of, “Viva, Senior San Miguel! Viva!” from its thousands of devotees.
