STEM Tomasians won 2nd Runner Up in Search for MATHalinong Iliganon
A team of two Grade 11 STEM students, Rey Mark Degamo and Erika Jane Cuevas, and one grade 12 STEM student, Ashley Johairah Mualam, represented Tomas Cabili National High School in the SHS Category during the Search for MATHalinong Iliganon today, May 24, 2023, held at CED Amphitheater, MSU-IIT, Iligan City.
This competition was participated by private and public secondary schools of Iligan City. Even with the short preparation and training time, the Tomasian team bagged the 3rd Place (2nd Runner Up) in the competition. The coverage of this math competition ranged from JHS to SHS topics: Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Statistics, Trigonometry, and Calculus. This is not possible if not for the aid of their coach, sir Cris Capilayan, and the support of the STEM advisers and classmates. 😉 The JHS team of Tomas Cabili National High School also won 4th Runner Up in the JHS Category of the said competition. Thank you so much for the support of TCNHS Admin.
Indeed, Tomasians can excel in the field of STEM. Congratulations to our dear STEM students! We are so proud of you. To God be all the glory!
