The day kicked off with registration and a dynamic forum that opened thought-provoking conversations on innovation and entrepreneurship. This was followed by engaging panel discussions that explored how research-driven solutions can create real economic and social impact. 💡

Participants embarked on an immersion tour, getting a closer look at BatStateU’s innovation and technology facilities — a true showcase of Filipino ingenuity in action. 🇵🇭

The excitement peaked during “Make or Break: The Ultimate Pitches”, where innovators confidently presented their technologies and business ideas to industry experts and partners. The day concluded with a dinner fellowship, celebrating collaboration and shared commitment to advancing the country’s innovation ecosystem. 🤝🍽

Day 1 of Inno.Venta 2025 has successfully concluded — marking an exciting start to this national innovation showcase! 🚀✨

The event opened with registration and ceremonies, followed by inspiring keynote addresses and insightful tech talks that set the tone for a day of collaboration and creativity. The ceremonial opening of exhibits was a highlight, officially welcoming innovators and partner institutions from across the country.

We’re proud to share that the Technology Transfer and Enterprise Unit (TTEU) of the Knowledge and Technology Transfer Office (KTTO), Mindanao State University - Iligan Institute of Technology actively participated in the exhibit with Chancellor Alizedney M. Ditucalan, joining the innovators in showcasing university-developed technologies and engaging in meaningful discussions on technology transfer and commercialization. 💡🤝

In line with MSU-IIT’s commitment to strengthening university-industry collaboration, the Technology Transfer and Enterprise Unit - Knowledge and Technology Transfer Office (TTEU-KTTO) coordinated a consultation request from Dr. Ronald P. Bual, Project Leader of NICER CSP 2 and BIOChAP, with KTTO's IP Legal, Atty. Edgar Alan A. Donasco, today, October 7, 2025.

This consultation seeks to clarify important matters relating to:

1️⃣ The nature and scope of industry partnerships,
2️⃣ Proper structuring of Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) and Memoranda of Agreement (MOA), and
3️⃣ Other relevant MSU-IIT policies and procedures on external collaborations.

In preparation, project leaders are requested to fill out the provided form to help the office facilitate proper documentation and drafting of partnership agreements.

Through collaborative guidance and structured engagement, we continue to build strong and strategic linkages that transform research into real-world impact. 🌱🤝

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: MSU-IIT Joins Inno.Venta 2025: Transforming Discoveries to Economic Impact

The Technology Transfer and Enterprise Unit (TTEU) – Knowledge and Technology Transfer Office (KTTO) of Mindanao State University - Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT) joins the Institute’s local organizing committees in preparing for the university’s participation in Inno.Venta 2025, a national innovation platform organized by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) under the leadership of Dr. Napoleon K. Juanillo, Jr., Assistant Secretary for Technology Transfer, Communications, and Commercialization.

🗓 October 23–25, 2025
📍 Batangas State University – The National Engineering University

This national event aims to bridge research and commercialization, bringing together Filipino innovators, entrepreneurs, investors, and industry leaders to showcase technologies, form partnerships, and accelerate impact.

As part of MSU-IIT’s Secretariat Committee, the TTEU-KTTO takes charge of the following:

1️⃣ Listing all projects to be included in the exhibit
2️⃣ Ensuring that all products are accompanied by a Business Model Canvas
3️⃣ Training all exhibitors for effective pitching presentations
4️⃣ Making sure that all technologies have product fliers
