🔵 Hinga – Well-being muna at mas kaunting academic demands habang bumabangon ang komunidad.

Sumunod sa abiso ng Office of the President, Presidential Communications Office, LGUs, NDRRMC/OCD, PHIVOLCS, at iba pang awtoridad.

ICNCS Opens SY 2026–2027 Amid Earthquake Scare

ILIGAN CITY— Iligan City North Central School (ICNCS) officially opened School Year 2026–2027 today, June 8, with a flag-raising ceremony led by the school administration and attended by members of the Philippine National Police (PNP).

The opening program was graced by Division personnel Michael John R. Daub and Nurse Christine Agnes Z. Osabel, who joined learners, teachers, and parents in welcoming the new school year.

Shortly after the opening activities, an earthquake was felt in the area. However, the school community remained calm and promptly implemented the proper “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure. Learners and personnel demonstrated preparedness and discipline, ensuring safety throughout the incident.

Despite the unexpected event, classes continued smoothly as learners and teachers maintained a positive outlook. The incident highlighted the importance of disaster preparedness and the readiness of the ICNCS community to respond effectively during emergencies.

With optimism and resilience, ICNCS begins another academic year committed to providing a safe and conducive learning environment for all.
