A Meaningful Step toward Global Learning and
Cultural Connection. 🇵🇭🤝🇨🇳

Today, the IMCC School, through the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM), together with some of the College Deans had the opportunity to meet Ms. Angela Wen, Vice President for International Affairs, alongside Sir Joseph Espadilla, who is spearheading the Cultural and Educational Exchange Program 2026.

The proposed exchange program offers students an immersive educational experience in China, featuring cultural learning, historical city tours, university visits, five-star hotel exposure, academic collaboration opportunities, learning Chinese culture, and basic Chinese language learning. The program aims to deepen students’ understanding of Chinese history, traditions, and modern practices related to hospitality, tourism, business, healthcare, education, criminology, arts and sciences, and technology aligned with their respective courses.

This opportunity is open not only to CHTM students,
but also to students from CBA, CED, CAS, CRIM, IT, MEDICAL COURSES, and other colleges, allowing them to gain international exposure, cultural understanding, and global learning experiences beyond the classroom. ✨🌏

💚 A Tribute to Our Graduates 💚

The College proudly presents the culminating activity of its First, Second, and Third Year students—an impressive showcase of culinary excellence, creativity, and cultural appreciation. The event featured a meticulously prepared pica-pica table setup and an elegant bread and pastry dessert buffet, highlighting the students’ acquired skills and passion for the culinary arts. This occasion also served as a heartfelt tribute to the graduating students, honoring their dedication and achievements.

The success of this activity was made possible under the guidance of the Culinary instructors, led by Pastry Chef Sheila Marie Zuñiga and Sir Jeremiah Galleros, for the MICE class. Adding vibrancy to the event was the cultural dance showdown performed by the First Year students, celebrating the richness of Philippine heritage under the leadership of Miss Jessa Capangpangan. The Second Year students also demonstrated their expertise through an engaging tour guiding presentation, spearheaded by Miss Laurier Mae Amomonpon.

It also featured the awarding of non-academic honors to students, carefully prepared and facilitated by Miss Shayne Dador, recognizing excellence beyond the classroom.

This meaningful event was held with the full support and inspiration of our Dean, Doc Keena O. Lagtapon, whose leadership continues to empower students to excel in both skill and character.
