Adjusted Class Schedule Due to High Heat Index

In view of the continuous rise of Heat Index in Iligan City, and to ensure the safety and well-being of our learners and personnel.

CLASSES TOMORROW WILL BE HELD FROM 7:00 AM TO 11:30 AM ONLY (Shortened face-to-face classes in all levels from Kinder to Grade 12 in both public and private schools)

There will be NO afternoon classes. All school activities scheduled in the afternoon are likewise suspended.

School Heads are directed to make the necessary arrangements to implement this adjusted schedule and to ensure the safety of learners during dismissal.

Learners, teachers, and personnel are advised to stay hydrated and take necessary precautions against heat-related illnesses.

Due to the persistently high heat index in the city and in the interest of the health, safety, and well-being of our learners and personnel.

Classes in all levels, from Kinder to Grade 12, both public and private schools, shall remain SUSPENDED tomorrow, August 13, 2026.

The alternative delivery mode shall be implemented.
Learners are advised to continue with their modular/print-based activities or online learning activities at home.

Teachers may work from home and shall coordinate with their respective School Heads for tasks and monitoring.

School Heads are directed to disseminate this information immediately to all learners, parents, and stakeholders.

Let us all stay safe, hydrated, and take necessary precautions against heat-related illnesses.

​This is a directive from the DepEd Division of Iligan for the safety and well-being of our learners.

A HUGE, joyful thank you to our amazing Pathfinder learners, wonderful families, and incredible Teachers and staffs for making our Pathfinder Officers Training an overwhelming success!

Please be advised that there will be NO CLASSES for ALL grade levels TOMORROW for teachers and campers need to have enough time to rest and recover after the training.
