In partnership with the Ateneo de Davao Mathematics Society (AdDaMS), delegates from the Statistics and Mathematics Society represented the institute in the fierce two-day Math Confluence 2026, held at Ateneo de Davao University last April 10-11, 2026. 💚💙

Bagging 2𝙣𝙙 𝙍𝙪𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙧-𝙪𝙥 in the student thesis competition, 𝙅𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙯 𝘽. 𝘽𝙞𝙩𝙤𝙤𝙣, a 4th-year BS Mathematics student, championed his thesis entitled "𝑂𝑛 𝐺𝑒𝑛𝑒𝑟𝑎𝑙𝑖𝑧𝑒𝑑 𝐷𝑢𝑎𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑦 𝑂𝑝𝑒𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑜𝑟 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝐼𝑡𝑠 𝐴𝑝𝑝𝑙𝑖𝑐𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑡𝑜 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝐹𝑟𝑎𝑐𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑎𝑙 𝐶𝑎𝑙𝑐𝑢𝑙𝑢𝑠 𝑜𝑓 𝑉𝑎𝑟𝑖𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑠." 🏆✨️

As we appreciate the beauty of numbers and the role math plays in our daily lives, from tricky problems to simple tasks, we are reminded that math is truly everywhere. A complex and sometimes bizarre thing, yet it never fails to tickle the brain with its beauty. ✨️
