In observance of Araw ng Iligan and 1448 Hijrah Amun Jadid (Islamic New Year), there will be no classes and office work on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.

Araw ng Iligan commemorates the 76th Charter Anniversary of Iligan City, celebrating its rich history, cultural heritage, and progress as a city. Meanwhile, 1448 Hijrah Amun Jadid (Islamic New Year) marks the beginning of the Islamic lunar calendar and is a significant religious observance for the Muslim community, symbolizing reflection, renewal, and spiritual growth.

Regular school operations and classes will resume on Wednesday, June 17, 2026.

In observance of Independence Day, there will be no classes and office work on Friday, June 12, 2026.

Independence Day commemorates the declaration of Philippine independence from Spanish colonial rule on June 12, 1898. It is a national holiday that honors the bravery and patriotism of Filipino heroes who fought for the country’s freedom and sovereignty.

Regular school operations and classes will resume on Saturday, June 13, 2026.

As a reminder, employees who are absent on the workday immediately preceding a regular holiday, or whose leave on such day is without pay, are not entitled to holiday pay in accordance with DOLE guidelines.

In view of the earthquake experienced early this morning and to ensure the safety and well-being of all students, classes in all levels are suspended on June 8–9, 2026.

Office operations shall continue as scheduled unless otherwise announced. Employees are advised to exercise due caution and prioritize their safety while reporting for work.

We encourage everyone to remain vigilant, follow safety advisories from local authorities, and continue monitoring the official St. Peter’s College page for further updates.
