The College is located in Iligan City in the island of Mindanao which is in the Southern part of the Philippine Archipelago. It is approximately 795 kilometers from the urban center of Manila which is the seat of government and the hub of the country’s economic activities. From
Manila, it can be reached by an hour and fifteen minutes plane ride via Cagayan de Oro airport and is thirty-six hours by boat. Iligan City has a land area of 81.337 square miles and has 44 Barangays. As of 2005, the city has an estimated population of 298,000. The school complex is located along the Rotonda of San Miguel Village, Pala-o, Iligan City which is just a few hundred meters away from City Hall. It is ideally located just outside the downtown area which conveniently shields it from the hustling noise attendant to the City’s usual economic activities, yet near enough to make accessibility a minor concern. Public transport is readily available so with the other amenities like student-friendly eateries and lodging houses. The school complex has six (6) major structures with a total floor area of approximately 13,570 square meters. To date, there are 32 approved course offerings clustered into (10) ten colleges. From its humble beginnings, the college has metamorphosed into a multi-faceted educational institution. From initially offering only paramedical courses it has ventured into non-paramedical courses. The college now offers computer related courses, hospitality courses under its Hotel and Restaurant Management-Tourism department, Criminology, Education, Business Administration, Basic Education including the Junior High School and Senior High School. Along the years, it has produced excellent graduates who have topped various government Licensure Examinations particularly in Nursing, Midwifery, Radiologic Technology, Criminology, etc. A few years ago, the college was adjudged as the “best school for Radiologic Technology” for that year. Our graduates have found employment overseas – proof that our trainings are at par with global standards. In its quest for academic excellence, the college was granted an initial Level 1 accreditation for Nursing, Education and Commerce courses in the year 2003 by the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities-Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA). Thus, our college holds the distinct honor of being “the first PACUCOA Accredited School in Iligan.”
Such accreditation was upgraded to level II-2nd Re-Accredited in year 2013 for the College of Nursing and College of Business Administration. And Level II-1st Re-Accredited for College of Education (BEED), Level I for College of Education (BSED), Level I for Basic Education (Elementary).
