The Student Peer Facilitator Organization (SPFO) of Adventist Medical Center College (AMCC) formally dedicated its officers and inducted its new trainees during a ceremony held on August 7, 2027, at the AMCC Campus Church, carrying the theme, โ€œServing with Purpose and Faith to Others.โ€

AMCC President Dr. Jimmy V. Adil served as the guest speaker and addressed the officers and trainees about the responsibilities that come with serving the student community. His message centered on using one's abilities and influence to contribute meaningfully to the lives of others.

The dedication ceremony formally commissioned the SPFO officers for their respective responsibilities while also welcoming the 12 SPFO and 2 JSPFO trainees into the organization. The ceremony signified the commitment to uphold the organization's mission and fulfill their roles with accountability and integrity.

Through faith-centered leadership and purposeful service, the SPFO continues to encourage students to become compassionate peers, responsible leaders, and committed servants within the AMCC community.

Following Christ's example, AMCC student leaders dedicate themselves to leading through service. Together with the Central Student Organization (CeSO) and the presidents of all student organizations, clubs, and homerooms, they dedicated their selves to Godโ€”committing their hands to serve, their minds to learn, and their hearts to honor Him in all that they do.

On 13th of July, 2026, more than 300 freshmen and transferee students gathered at the Adventist Medical Center College (AMCC) Campus Church, as the college officially opened the new academic year through its General Orientation. Organized by the Department of Student Affairs and Services under the leadership of Pastor Roger T. Lopez, the event welcomed new students and introduced them to the college's academic programs, student services, and campus organizations. While the freshmen and transferees attended the program at the Campus Church, sophomore, junior, and senior students watched the proceedings through a live broadcast at the Multi-Purpose Hall (MPH).

The convocation opened with a devotional message led by Pastor Henry Sucuaje, followed by the processional of the AMCC faculty and staff. Department heads then introduced their faculty and staff, allowing students to become familiar with the individuals who will guide them throughout the academic year.

The event was also attended by officials from Adventist Medical Center Iligan (AMCI): Dr. Jonathan T. Casio, AMCI President; Dr. Jeannie Generato, Vice President for Medical Affairs; and Mr. Chrispulo Aguillon, Vice President for Finance. During the program, they introduced Yakap, PhilHealth's enhanced primary healthcare package, and encouraged students to become informed about the program's benefits. Following the morning session, sophomore, junior, and senior students were dismissed for lunch, while freshmen and transferees were served complimentary meals at the Campus Church before the afternoon activities resumed.

The afternoon program featured presentations from the college's recognized student organizations and clubs. Representatives introduced their respective organizations, highlighted their missions and activities, and invited students to participate in campus life. Student models also showcased the official uniforms of the different academic departments, giving the freshmen a glimpse of their future professional attire.

Simultaneously, the Gazebo area hosted Freshies' Day, where student organizations set up interactive booths for recruitment and information dissemination. The activity allowed new students to explore extracurricular opportunities, meet organization officers, and build connections with their fellow AMCCIANS.
The General Orientation concluded with the distribution of free ice cream, courtesy of the Central Student Organization (CeSO), providing a cheerful ending to the college's first day of classes and officially welcoming the newest members of the AMCC community.
