𝗦𝘂𝗥𝗘𝗥-𝗖𝗧 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆-𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻.

The Philippine Institute of Civil Engineering (PICE)- Misamis Oriental Chapter hosted the Industry-Academe Roundtable discussion last February 7, 2024, at Fat Chef Restaurant, Cagayan de Oro City. Together with MSU-IIT College of Engineering, SuRER-CT attended the said event.

This initiative bridges the gap between industry and academia, promoting innovation. Different universities participated in the said event: Capitol University, Phinma- CDO, Liceo de Cagayan University, University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP), Xavier University, and St. Michael's College- Iligan.

The SuRER-CT Team is in active participation in the SPRINT: SIKLAB Business Modelling and Product-Market Fit from January 22- 26, 2024. The training is facilitated by the UP Siklab through the support of DOST. The training program helps them uncover strategies on how SuRER-CT must operate to generate revenue and create value, while ensuring that a product or service aligns effectively with the needs of its target market, ensuring demand and success.

Aspiring entrepreneurs, engineers, and researchers joined the Regional Science, Technology, and Innovation Week (RSTW) sa Northern Mindanao along with Chancellor, MSU-IIT Prof. Alizedney M. Ditucalan, JD, LLM, City Mayor Frederick Siao, District Representative Hon. Celso G. Regencia, 1st District Representative of Lanao del Norte Hon. Mohamad Khalid Dimaporo, 2nd District Representative of Lanao del Norte Hon. Sittie Aminah Q. Dimaporo, and Lanao del Norte Governor Hon. Imelda Quibranza-Dimaporo. This was held last October 11-13, 2023 at MSU-IIT Gymnasium in Iligan City.

For three days, the event showcased an extensive and impactful array of groundbreaking research and technologies. This event highlighted the region's rich potential and dedication in innovation.

Dr. Noridah Binti Osman of Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP), Malaysia together with Dr. Arnold C. Alguno and Dr. Gaudencio C. Petalcorin Jr. of Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT) graced our BioPolymer Research Laboratory as both parties discussed about research innovations. Led by Dr. Maria Sheila K. Ramos, the discourse centered on revolutionary technologies, focusing on the innovative valorization of agro-industrial waste for construction purposes.

The SUReR CT Team of MSU-IIT, LaSalle University (LSU)- Ozamis and Central Mindanao University (CMU)- Bukidnon attended the Cohort 2 of the 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁-𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 (𝗦𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗧) held in De LaSalle University.

It is a dynamic initiative facilitated by the DLSU STARTHUB through the support of DOST-PCIEERD RITTD. As we dive into Innovation and Technopreneurship, this program will help them uncover the art of customer discovery through collaborative learning and transformative insights

DTI Tubod, Lanao Del Norte and MSU-IIT aim to promote technological advancement for the coconut industry at the 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵-𝗩𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘂𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 (𝗛𝗩𝗖𝗣) 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 Meeting held in DTI- Tubod Conference, Lanao Del Norte.

Undergraduate theses under the research studies of the DOST- PCIEERD funded research programs of SuRER-CT and CSP are invited to present their winning theses in the recent Cong. Celsio G. Regencia Innovation and Sustainability Thesis Writing Competition.
