MSU-IIT celebrates another milestone in academic excellence! 🏆

Four more programs have successfully passed the ASEAN University Network–Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) Programme Assessment!

All of the undergraduate programs of the College of Arts and Social Sciences, in particular, have now officially passed the AUN-QA assessment!

The assessment was successfully passed by the following CASS programs: Bachelor of Arts in History, the Bachelor of Science in Philosophy major in Applied Ethics, and the Bachelor of Science in Psychology.

Meanwhile, the College of Education’s Bachelor of Elementary Education major in Language Education is the first program of the College to pass the assessment.

This achievement and endeavor are a result of our ingrained collaborative spirit, and this success belongs to every member of our community!

More programs across the University are scheduled to undergo the same stringent assessment and evaluation process. This comprehensive quality assurance measure is a vital part of our commitment to maintaining and elevating the standards of academic excellence.

With 𝘩𝘶𝘴𝘢𝘺 𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘰, Jenny Miranda from the Bachelor of Science in Philosophy Major in Applied Ethics program of the College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS) is the class Valedictorian of the 56th Commencement Exercises First Semester with a grade point average of 1.27273, graduating with a Magna Cum Laude distinction.

Philosophy is often seen as a pursuit of abstract ideas, but it has been about something much more practical: learning how to think clearly in a complicated world.

The Department is proud to recognize the graduates of BS Philosophy (Applied Ethics) Batch 2026, "Vivant." This group has put in years of hard work, tackling the difficult questions of ethics and social responsibility with a serious commitment to their studies.

The batch is led by the Class Valedictorian and Magna Cum Laude honoree, Jenny O. Miranda. Her dedication, along with the consistent effort shown by the entire batch, reflects the high standards we strive for in our program.

As these graduates move forward into their professional lives, we are confident they will use their training in critical thinking and ethics to make a practical difference.
