The Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT) Reserve Officers' Training Corps proudly joins the nation in celebrating National Women’s Month, honoring the remarkable strength and leadership of women within the military service. This celebration serves as a powerful tribute to the female cadets and officers who wear the uniform with dignity, proving that courage and discipline are not defined by gender but by a steadfast commitment to duty. By embracing the vision of a world-class, multi-mission ready force, these trailblazing women break traditional barriers and demonstrate that they are integral pillars of peace, security, and nation-building.

We offer a snappy and heartfelt salute to the women in uniform of the MSU-IIT ROTCU, whose resilience inspires. Balancing the rigors of academic life with the demanding standards of military training, they embody the highest ideals of service and patriotism. Their presence in the corps not only strengthens the reserve force but also paves the way for a more inclusive and empowered future for all aspiring defenders of the nation. In light of this celebration, the MSU-IIT ROTCU extends a very Happy National Women’s Month to all the dedicated and hardworking women in our unit who continue to lead with excellence and serve with pride.

The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Services (OVCSS) is currently under renovation.

Various activities and initiatives for the Women’s Month celebration were held at MSU-IIT, and to elaborate more on the discussion on gender justice in the context of digital spaces, a forum entitled “Safe Spaces for HER, Advancing Gender Justice Through Digital Accountability,” was organized by the College of Computer Studies (CCS), the Gender and Development Center (GADC), and Office of Student Development and Services (OSDS) on March 11, 2026, at the MICel Training Room.

MSU-IIT has successfully secured trademark registrations from the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL) for its institutional tagline “Influencing the Future” and its official school spirit icon “The MSU-IIT Cats.”

Both marks are now registered trademarks of MSU-IIT and enjoy ten years of protection, covering official University uses such as merchandise, printed materials, programs, and events.

This milestone further strengthens MSU-IIT’s intellectual property portfolio and supports its branding, merchandising, and outreach initiatives as the University continues to build visibility and engage its communities through its tagline and spirit icon.

In a powerful convergence of National Women’s Month and Fire Prevention Month, Project CLIMA (Community empowerment, Leadership of women in climate action, Inclusive sustainability, Mitigation and adaptation practices, Advocacy for climate justice) mobilized young women leaders to champion safety, resilience, and climate-responsive action.
