‎MSU-IIT ORIONS once 𝐐𝐔𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐈𝐄𝐃 to represent the Philippines for the 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭 in 𝐋𝐨𝐬 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐬, 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐚. Last March 10, 2024, MSU-IIT ORIONS competed in their first-ever national competition, the World of Dance Philippines held at the University of the Philippines (UP) Theater, Quezon City. They secured 2nd Place in the said competition, successfully placing a podium for their first-ever national appearance. Through that win, MSU-IIT ORIONS qualified to represent the Philippines in the World of Dance Summit which was going to be held at Los Angeles, California at the time.

Last July 24, 2026, MSU-IIT ORIONS gathered for our Alay sa Graduates prepared by our incumbent officers, a heartfelt tribute to the members who have reached another milestone in their journey. Through laughter, memories, performances, and heartfelt messages, we celebrated not only your achievements but also the incredible impact you have left within our constellation.

Every rehearsal, every performance, every challenge, and every triumph became brighter because of your passion, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the team. You have inspired us to dream bigger, dance harder, and continue reaching for the stars. Though your paths may now lead you to new horizons, your light will forever remain a part of the constellation we proudly call home.

Through every rehearsal, every challenge, every victory, and every moment shared on and off the stage, they have left footprints that will forever be etched into the constellation we proudly call home. Their passion, dedication, and unwavering commitment have inspired not only their fellow dancers but everyone fortunate enough to witness their journey.

For three consecutive years, a graduating member of MSU-IIT ORIONS have received an institute award since its establishment on 2022. Last 2024, one of our graduating member received the team's first institute award (Janly June Salomon for Institute Dance Award-Male), following is last year's MSU-IIT ORIONS feat by receiving three (3) institute awards (Jackielynn Marie Cartin for Institute Dramatics Award-Female, Jhelaine Tagaytay for Institute Dance Award-Female, and Jose Rey Chua for Institute Dance Award-Male). This year, two (2) of MSU-IIT ORIONS' graduating members are receiving an institute award (Jose Raymund Ege for Institute Dramatics Award-Male and Angelou Bocado for Institute Dance Award-Male).

The Mindanao State University–Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT) proudly recognizes the distinguished Institute Awardees of the 56th Commencement Exercises of the second semester graduation, whose achievements and contributions will be commemorated in 𝗧𝗮𝗱𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the official yearbook of the graduating class.

These awardees embody the spirit of excellence, leadership, dedication, and service through their remarkable accomplishments and meaningful contributions to the university community. 𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: 𝘐𝘵’𝘴 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨… 𝘥𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘳 𝘦𝘳𝘢!

IITians gathered in rhythm as Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT) Orions—one of the university’s resident dance groups—in partnership with the MSU-IIT Center for Culture and Arts (CCA), piloted 𝘍𝘖𝘙𝘎𝘌: 𝘈 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘋𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘞𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘱 2026 on April 27-29 and May 4-5 at the University Dance Studio.

Aimed at strengthening artistry and fostering connections through dance, the five-day workshop highlighted the power of shared passion to build community and drive personal growth, led by the group’s top dancers.
