Alongside the Buwan ng Wika celebration and Salo-Salo sa DC, our Childrenโ€™s Festival gave our young DCnians from ๐Š๐ข๐ง๐๐ž๐ซ๐ ๐š๐ซ๐ญ๐ž๐ง ๐ญ๐จ ๐†๐ซ๐š๐๐ž 6 a day to ๐™š๐™ฃ๐™Ÿ๐™ค๐™ฎ, ๐™ฅ๐™ก๐™–๐™ฎ, ๐™–๐™ฃ๐™™ ๐™๐™–๐™ซ๐™š ๐™›๐™ช๐™ฃ with their classmates and teachers.

With the help of the ๐ƒ๐š๐ง๐ฌ๐š๐ฅ๐š๐ง ๐‚๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž๐ ๐ž ๐’๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐๐š๐ซ๐ฅ๐ข๐š๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ (๐ƒ๐‚๐’๐), the children took part in different ๐’ˆ๐’‚๐’Ž๐’†๐’” ๐’‚๐’๐’… ๐’‚๐’„๐’•๐’Š๐’—๐’Š๐’•๐’Š๐’†๐’” that kept the day lively and full of laughter.

Matapos ang mga pagtatanghal para sa ๐๐ฎ๐ฐ๐š๐ง ๐ง๐  ๐–๐ข๐ค๐š, ang pagsasalo na isang tradisyong malapit sa puso ng bawat Pilipino ang nagpatuloy sa pagdiriwang.

Sa lobby, nagsama-sama ang mga DCnians dala ang mga pagkaing inihanda ng bawat baitang. Unti-unting napuno ang mga mesa ng sari-saring handa, hanggang sa tuluyang maging isang malaking salo-salo ang lugar. Kasabay ng pagkain ang kuwentuhan, tawanan, at mga sandaling mas masayang pinagsasaluhan kaysa kinakain.

Sa pamamagitan ng ๐‘บ๐’‚๐’๐’-๐‘บ๐’‚๐’๐’ ๐’”๐’‚ ๐‘ซ๐‘ช, muling nakita na ang kultura ay hindi lamang naipapakita sa entablado. Nagsimula ang programa sa isang opening ceremony na nagbigay-buhay sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika. Sinundan ito ng isang ๐’‚๐’˜๐’Š๐’• na inihandog ng ๐ข๐ฌ๐š ๐ฌ๐š ๐ฆ๐ ๐š ๐›๐š๐ญ๐š๐ง๐  ๐ญ๐š๐ฅ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐จ ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐š ๐ฌ๐š ๐†๐ซ๐š๐๐ž 7, na nagbigay ng mas masiglang simula sa programa.

Matapos ang awit, ipinagpatuloy ang programa sa mga pagtatanghal ng mga mag-aaral mula ๐Š๐ข๐ง๐๐ž๐ซ๐ ๐š๐ซ๐ญ๐ž๐ง ๐ก๐š๐ง๐ ๐ ๐š๐ง๐  ๐’๐ž๐ง๐ข๐จ๐ซ ๐‡๐ข๐ ๐ก ๐’๐œ๐ก๐จ๐จ๐ฅ. On August 7, 2026, DCSP Minister of Health, Marjannah M. Benaning and Minister of Waste Management, Juhainnah P. Macadato, led a seminar at Dansalan College Foundation, Inc. about cleanliness, proper waste disposal, and student responsibility. The discussion reminded students that keeping the school clean is not only about picking up trash. It also means being mindful of the spaces we share and doing our part without waiting for someone else to do it.

So, the next time you see a piece of trash in your surroundings, would you leave it there or pick it up?

The decision reflects how the seminar's message reaches into our own action.

DCSP and PGO officers have finally marked their official appearance !๐ŸŽ‰

Today, our newly elected officers officially took their oath of office before the student body, marking the start of their journey for School Year 2026โ€“2027. The ceremony was led by Dansalan College Foundation President Madam Tawagon, who formally entrusted these student leaders with their new responsibilities.

As they step into their roles, may they carry with them the schoolโ€™s core values of Integrity, Loyalty, and Service. May they lead with purpose, inspire others through their actions, and become the role models the DCFI community can look up to.

SY 2026-2027 ORIENTATION WAS A SUCCESS !

Every successful school year begins with a shared understanding between the school and our families. On July 24, 2026, Dansalan College gathered with parents for the SY 2026-2027 School Orientation, where important school policies, guidelines, and expectations were presented to help prepare for the year ahead.

The event also served as an opportunity to strengthen the partnership between home and school, creating a shared commitment to every learner's growth and success.

To all parents, thank you for your time, trust, and active participation. Your presence reminds us that dedication is most meaningful when schools and families work hand in hand.
