In view of the continued high heat index and to ensure the safety and well-being of our learners and school personnel, the suspension of face-to-face classes in all levels, from Kinder to Grade 12, in both public and private schools, is ๐™€๐™“๐™๐™€๐™‰๐˜ฟ๐™€๐˜ฟ until tomorrow, August 14, 2026. Alternative Delivery Mode shall be implemented.

Learners are advised to continue with their modular, online, or take-home activities. Teachers may work from home and shall coordinate with their respective School Heads for instructions and deliverables.

School Heads are directed to immediately disseminate this information to all learners, parents, and stakeholders.

Everyone is advised to stay hydrated, avoid direct sun exposure, and take necessary precautions against heat-related illnesses.

Due to the persistently high heat index in the city and in the interest of the health, safety, and well-being of our learners and personnel.

Classes in all levels, from Kinder to Grade 12, both public and private schools, shall remain SUSPENDED tomorrow, August 13, 2026.

The alternative delivery mode shall be implemented.
Learners are advised to continue with their modular/print-based activities or online learning activities at home.

Teachers may work from home and shall coordinate with their respective School Heads for tasks and monitoring.

School Heads are directed to disseminate this information immediately to all learners, parents, and stakeholders.

Let us all stay safe, hydrated, and take necessary precautions against heat-related illnesses.

ANNOUNCEMENT dated June 8, 2026

As per instruction of the Schools Division Superintendent (SDS) and the announcement of Mayor Siao through the SGOD Office, and due to the recent earthquake with a recorded intensity of 6.8, classes at all levels in both public and private schools are hereby suspended today.

In lieu of in-person classes, all schools are directed to shift to Hybrid Learning Modality and continue with the planned activities for the first day of classes.

The safety and security of our learners remain our utmost priority. All concerned are advised to stay alert and follow safety protocols as advised by local authorities.

A memorandum will follow for further details.

Please be guided accordingly and keep safe everyone!
