Tropical Depression Crising is currently located at 535 km east of Juban, Sorsogon with maximum sustained winds of 55 km/hr near the center and gustiness of up to 70 km/hr.

It is moving west, northwestward at 15 km/hr.

Wind signal no. 1 is currently up in Cagayan including the Babuyan Islands, Isabela, the northeastern portion of Aurora, Quirino, Kalinga, the eastern portion of Mountain Province, the eastern portion of Ifugao, the northeastern portion of Nueva Vizcaya, and Apayao.

Crising will steadily intensify up to severe tropical storm strength while moving northwestward over the Philippine Sea.

It may make its landfall over mainland Cagayan by Friday evening or Saturday morning then cross the northern portion of Northern Luzon.
