PHONE USAGE ARE PROHIBITED during instructional periods or class hours in line with the DepEd Order No. 006, series of 2026 (Guidelines on Ensuring a Safe and Motivating Learning Environtment).

โ—๏ธAll STUDENTS and TEACHERS are required to comply with this advisory and with the existing DepEd order to avoid unwarranted disturbances in the delivery of lessons and classroom learnings.

โœ… ALLOWABLE USE OF PHONES:

1. ACADEMIC PURPOSES: accessing educational platforms, digital resources, or participating in authorized online collaborative activities.

2. EMERGENCY SITUATIONS: facilitating communication during disasters, medical crises, or other immediate safety concerns.

โœ… ETHICAL USE OF PHONES: Students are required to put their phones inside their bags. In case of expected or unexpected calls, the student must politely ask for permission to the teacher before answering the call. In answering the phone, the student must go outside and speak in moderate voice in order not to disturb the classes in other classrooms.

๐Ÿ“SANCTIONS FOR STUDENTS:

1๏ธโƒฃ 1ST OFFENSE- temporary confiscation and return at the end of the subject period; then, documentation using confiscation slip.

2๏ธโƒฃ 2ND OFFENSE - temporary confiscation and return at the end of class hours (class day); documentation using confiscation slip; and parental notice.

3๏ธโƒฃ 3RD and SUCCEEDING OFFENSE - confiscation of the device and depositing it to the office of the school head or administrator; documentation using confiscation slip and call slip; return of the device upon retrieval of the parent or guardian; and imposition of proper disciplinary action.
