✅ 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙎𝙪𝙧𝙫𝙚𝙮 (𝙏𝘼𝙎) 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙇𝙮𝙢𝙥𝙝𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙘 𝙁𝙞𝙡𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙨

Lymphatic Filariasis, more commonly known as “elephantiasis,” is a disease caused by parasites and transmitted through mosquito bites. It may result in severe swelling of the legs, arms, breasts, and other parts of the body.

The Department of Health conducted this Transmission Assessment Survey to determine if the disease transmission has been successfully stopped and if the mass drug administration program against Lymphatic Filariasis has been effective.

Monlaque Elementary School would like to extend its sincere gratitude to the Department of Health – Western Visayas Center for Health Development (DOH-WVCHD), the Provincial Health Office, and the Municipal Health Office for choosing the school as one of the identified schools for this undertaking.💛

Monlaque Elementary School would like to extend its sincerest gratitude to Team Pragaak for their invaluable help in constructing a makeshift footbridge. Since our pupils need to cross a creek to reach school, this structure will keep them safe from danger when floodwaters rise during the rainy season. This project is a collective effort of the SPTA, together with the united support of all parents and teachers.💛
