" THE PRESSURE TO BE ENOUGH"

Every sleepless night, every apology for not being perfect, every voice saying you still have a long way to go- you thought the only way to finally call yourself "enough" was to pass the exam. But the plot twist is that passing was never the proof of your worth. It was just the moment that you realized you were already enough, all along. ✨

Behind the Smile symbolizes the hidden struggles that a person may carry inside, even if they seem fine on the outside. The title reflects the main character’s emotional pain as he faces bullying because of his appearance and the pressure to meet his family’s expectations in school. It represents his fears, self-doubt, and the feeling of never being good enough. Behind the Smile reminds us that we should not judge others based on what we see because everyone may be fighting silent battles that no one else can see. It encourages kindness, empathy, and understanding toward others.

UNHEARD is a short film that highlights the harmful effects of staying silent in the face of bullying. Using a nonlinear plot, the story begins with the ending and then flashes back to reveal how silence from witnesses contributed to a student's decision to leave the school. The film encourages viewers to speak up because silence can be just as damaging as the bullying itself.
‎
‎To raise awareness about bullying and the impact of bystander silence.
‎To encourage students to use their voices when they witness injustice.
