Grade 11 classroom of Monlaque National High School was filled with heartfelt words and kind gestures during the celebration of Teachers’ Day on October 2, 2026 in honor of teachers’ dedication, commitment, and invaluable contributions to education.

The activity was spearheaded by the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) officers and include fun teacher-related games and activity.

Monlaque National High School (NHS) conducted its General Parents-Teachers Association (PTA) Meeting and First Term Report Card Distribution for School Year 2026–2027 on October 1, 2026.

The activity provided an opportunity to discuss learners’ academic performance, recognize their dedication and perseverance throughout the first quarter, and address existing concerns to further support their academic growth and development.

𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗹𝗮𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗡𝗛𝗦 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽

Monlaque National High School (NHS) participated in the Capability-Building Workshop for the Modernization of Assessment Practices on September 26, 2026 (Batch 1), at the Kalibo Pilot Elementary School DLRC, Kalibo, Aklan.

The workshop, conducted by the Schools Division Office of Aklan through the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID), was anchored on Division Memorandum No. 562, s. 2026.

The activity aimed to strengthen teachers' and school leaders' competencies in implementing learner-centered, data-informed, and technology-supported assessment practices aligned with the MATATAG Curriculum and the ARAL Program.

It also emphasized the role of assessment in improving instruction, addressing learning gaps, and promoting better learner outcomes.

𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗹𝗮𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗡𝗛𝗦 𝗦𝗣𝗧𝗔 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗢𝗮𝘁𝗵

Newly elected officers of the Monlaque National High School Parents-Teachers Association (SPTA) for School Year 2026–2027 formally took their oath of office during the District of Ibajay East and Ibajay West Induction Ceremony on September 17, 2026, at the Ibajay Sports Center in Poblacion, Ibajay, Aklan.

Hon. Engr. Jose Miguel M. Miraflores, Municipal Mayor of Ibajay, administered the oath of office and delivered an inspirational message to the newly inducted officers. The ceremony was also attended by Ms. Idy R. Pedrita, Public Schools District Supervisor.

Ms. Lynette R. Tumbokon, MFPTA President for SY 2026–2027, delivered the inaugural speech, emphasizing the important role of parents and stakeholders in supporting the school and its programs.

The ceremony brought together SPTA officers and school stakeholders from the two districts as they formally assumed their responsibilities and reaffirmed their commitment to supporting schools, teachers, learners, and the wider school community.
