π **BAYANI NG KOMUNIDAD: A Celebration of Everyday Heroes** π
I March 26, 2026
As part of the Rural Farm School (RFS) Pillars - Integral Formation and Responsible Association - the Grade 9 learners of Mabalor-Catandala Integrated School successfully conducted the culminating activity Bayani ng Komunidad: Mapping and Celebrating Everyday Heroes last March 26, 2026.
Anchored on the theme βMy Role in the Family, School, and Community,β the activity aimed to strengthen learnersβ social awareness and deepen their understanding of their role within the community. Through community walks, observation, interviews, and video documentation, learners engaged directly with community helpers - especially hardworking farmers - and gained valuable insights into sustainable and organic farming practices.
We extend sincere gratitude to our School Principal, Mrs. Elsa A. Maranan for the technical support and to our TLE teacher, Sir Marc Lawrence P. Barza, for his guidance and dedication.

π Empowering Young Researchers: Grade 9 Oral Defense Success π
Keeping pace with excellence, the Grade 9 researchers showcased their skills and competence as they successfully completed their Oral Defense as part of the RFS Curriculum in Practical Research II, under the guidance of their Research Adviser, Maβam Nicole L. Tanyag, and Class Adviser, Maβam Cenith E. Sandoval.
Practical Research II highlights the application of quantitative research, where learners utilize scientific and statistical approaches in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data. Through this process, students strengthen their critical thinking, analytical skills, and ability to draw evidence-based conclusions - essential competencies for higher learning and real-world problem-solving.
This significant academic achievement was made possible through the invaluable technical assistance and steadfast support of our School Principal I, Maβam Elsa A. Maranan.

Mabalor-Catandala Integrated School proudly celebrated the Culminating Activity of National Womenβs Month 2026, anchored on the campaign banner βWE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society,β which emphasizes shared responsibility, collective leadership, and inclusive action. This yearβs sub-theme, βLead Like the Babaylans, Filipinas!β, highlights womenβs leadership rooted in wisdom, empathy, and service.
The celebration was marked by a variety of engaging and meaningful activities across all grade levels. Each group showcased their creativity and understanding through performances, presentations, and interactive tasks that emphasized the importance of womenβs roles in the family, community, and nation. These activities not only promoted awareness but also inspired learners to uphold respect, equality, and empowerment for all.

π₯ Learning Beyond the Classroom: Grade 6 Learners Visit Ibaan Fire Station π₯

As part of the celebration of Fire Prevention Month, selected learners from Grade 6 participated in the Open House and Station Tour held at the Ibaan Fire Station last March 27, 2026.
Five chosen learners, together with their class adviser, Mrs. Maria Cecilia J. Tapiro, had the opportunity to explore the fire station, learn about fire safety practices, and gain valuable knowledge on emergency preparedness. The activity provided a meaningful and engaging experience, helping the learners better understand the important role of firefighters in ensuring community safety.
The school extends its heartfelt appreciation to the Ibaan Fire Station for warmly accommodating our learners and for sharing their expertise in promoting fire awareness and prevention.
