The President Ramon Magsaysay State University, through its Research Services Office, will hold the Annual Review and Evaluation of Research and Development Studies 2026 - Environment and Natural Resources Cluster on October 15–16, 2026, at the PRMSU Regional Mango Research and Development Center, San Marcelino, Zambales.

With the theme “ACHIEVE with PRIME: Advancing University Research for SDG-Driven Impact and Excellence,” this activity provides a platform to assess research accomplishments, strengthen scholarly collaboration, and advance studies that address environmental challenges and promote sustainable natural resource management.

The University of the Philippines Intelligent Systems Center (UP ISC) will be hosting a webinar titled, "POMI: A Corpus to Support a Natural Language Inference-based Approach for Detecting Misinformation in Philippine Online News."

Featuring Dr. Paul Rossener Regonia, Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science, UP Diliman and UP ISC’s very own Division Chair for AI, this webinar will discuss the Philippine Online Misinformation Inference (POMI) dataset—a corpus with thousands of fact-checks and false claims from Philippine fact-check articles aimed at establishing the potential of AI-assisted fact checking.
