𝑰𝑵 𝑨𝑪𝑻𝑰𝑶𝑵 — “Teacher, okay lang po bang sabihing natatakot at napapagod din ako?”

Pahayag na nagbigay-diin sa matapang na paninindigan ng San Agustin Integrated School (SAIS) na hindi na dapat manatiling tahimik ang akademya sa mga hindi nakikitang pakikipaglaban ng kabataan.

Katuwang ang mga health advocates/nurses mula sa Schools Division Office (SDO) ng Zambales, matagumpay na isinasagawa ng SAIS ang isang pinalakas na programang pangkampus ukol sa 𝗣𝘀𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝗶𝗱 (𝗣𝗙𝗔) 𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀.

Lumalabas sa opisyal na ulat ng institusyon na layunin ng aktibidad na magbigay ng paunang suportang emosyonal, basagin ang stigma, at tahasang harapin ang tumataas na insidente ng depresyon, labis na pag-aalala, at burnout. Sa pamamagitan ng PFA, nilalayon ng paaralan na makabuo ng isang matatag at totoong safe space kung saan agarang matutugunan ang kalusugang pangkaisipan ng mga mag-aaral at g**o.

Binigyang-diin ng pamunuan na ang pagbibigay ng mental health support at PFA ay hindi solong tungkulin ng eskwelahan. Dahil dito, opisyal na nanawagan ang SAIS sa buong komunidad—kabilang ang mga magulang, mga opisyal ng barangay, at mga lokal na pinuno—na maging aktibong katuwang sa pagprotekta at pag-agapay sa emosyonal na kapakanan ng mga kabataan.

Gagawing tuloy-tuloy ang inisyatibong ito sa pamamagitan ng pagpapatupad ng serye ng psycho-social support programs, mga karagdagang pagsasanay sa PFA, at community-based interventions sa buong taong pampaaralan upang garantiyahan ang holistic na kaligtasan sa loob at labas ng kampus.

Sa Memorandum Circular No. 131 na nilagdaan ni Executive Secretary Ralph G. Recto, ipinag-utos ng Malacañang ang pagpapatupad ng naaangkop na alternative work arrangements sa mga tanggapan ng pamahalaan at alternative learning modes at learning continuity measures sa mga pampubliko at pribadong paaralan bukas, Agosto 20, bilang paghahanda sa inaasahang patuloy na malakas na pag-ulan dulot ng habagat.

Ang hakbang ay alinsunod sa rekomendasyon ng National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) at dahil sa banta ng localized flooding at mga panganib sa paglalakbay dulot ng patuloy na pag-ulan.

Ipatutupad ang alternative work arrangements at alternative learning modes sa mga sumusunod na lugar:

Hindi sakop ng alternative work arrangements ang mga ahensyang may kinalaman sa pagbibigay ng basic at health services, paghahanda at pagtugon sa mga sakuna at kalamidad

Ang mga Contract of Service (COS) at Job Order (JO) workers na ilalagay sa alternative work arrangements ay patuloy na tatanggap ng kaukulang sahod o bayad, alinsunod sa umiiral na mga patakaran at regulasyon.

Ipinauubaya ng Malacanang sa mga Local Chief Executives ang kapangyarihang mag-pasiya kung kinakailangang suspendihin ang pasok sa mga lugar na kanilang nasasakupan na hindi napabilang sa memorandum circular.

Nasa diskresyon naman ng pamunuan ng pribadong sektor ang pagdeklara ng suspensyon sa trabaho.

Dahil sa patuloy na pag-ulan dulot ng Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) at bilang pag-iingat para sa kaligtasan ng ating mga mag-aaral, SUSPENDIDO ANG KLASE SA LAHAT NG ANTAS (ALL LEVELS) sa Bayan ng Iba, Zambales ngayong Lunes, Agosto 17, 2026.

Ang hakbang na ito ay isinagawa batay sa rekomendasyon ng Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) at ng Department of Education (DepEd), at bilang tugon sa mga umiiral na weather advisories ng PAGASA kung saan inaasahan ang patuloy na pag-ulan sa Zambales na maaaring magdulot ng pagbaha at iba pang panganib sa mga apektadong lugar.

Para sa continuity of learning, hinihikayat ang mga paaralan at g**o na makipag-ugnayan sa kanilang mga mag-aaral at mga magulang upang maipatupad ang naaangkop na alternative learning modalities, alinsunod sa kanilang learning continuity protocols at umiiral na guidelines ng DepEd.

Pinapayuhan ang lahat na manatiling nakasubaybay sa mga opisyal na abiso at anunsyo mula sa DepEd, PAGASA, MDRRMO, LGU Iba, at iba pang kinauukulang awtoridad.

JUST IN: Work from home arrangements, iiral pa rin sa ilang lugar sa Luzon, bukas August 11.

Iiral pa rin ang work-from-home arrangement sa mga tanggapan ng gobyerno sa Zambales, Bataan at Occidental Mindoro bukas, August 11 dahil sa inaasahang patuloy na malakas na pag-ulan dulot ng Habagat.

Batay sa Memorandum Circular No. 124 na inilabas ng Malacañang, ipatutupad din ang alternative learning modalities sa mga pampubliko at pribadong paaralan sa tatlong lalawigan, maliban kung may ibang direktiba ang kani-kanilang local chief executives.|via Maricar Sargan
