Nungulunan Elementary School successfully conducted a 5-in-1 activity promoting safety, health awareness, and community engagement among learners and stakeholders.
In adherence to NDRRMC Memo No. 15, s. 2026 and in observance of Fire Prevention Month, personnel from the Bureau of Fire Protection โ Hungduan facilitated the 1st Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED), followed by an Information Education Campaign (IEC) on Fire Prevention and a Fire Drill, strengthening disaster preparedness in the school community.
A health IEC on proper handwashing and โPinggang Pinoyโ was also conducted by the Brgy. Health Clinic representative with a handwashing activity, participated by the learners, assisted by the Barangay Health Committee Chairperson.
Meanwhile, the 2nd Ifugao Provincial Mobile Force Company Revitalized-Pulis sa Barangay (2nd IPMFC R-PSB) conducted an IEC on Anti-Bullying and Sexual Harassment and provided a free haircut for male learners as part of the PNPโs best practice, โPulis Ko, Barbero Ko.โ
The activity concluded with a lively Zumba session led by school personnel and learners as part of the Womenโs Month Celebration.
The school extends its heartfelt gratitude to all partner agencies for generously sharing their time, expertise, and services, which greatly contributed to the success of the activity. The various information campaigns and activities conducted have significantly equipped learners with valuable knowledge and life skills related to safety, health, and personal well-being.
Special thanks are also extended to BLGU Nungulunan for their presence and continuous support to the schoolโs programs and initiatives. The active participation of parents and alumni further reflects the strong collaboration and unwavering support of the community toward the schoolโs mission of providing quality education and holistic development for every learner.
