HCSnians, welcome back to a brand new school year! 🎒✨

Today marked an incredible first day of school, made even more special by a powerful show of community support during our morning Flag Ceremony. 🇵🇭

We were deeply honored to have the Barangay Council of Poblacion 1, BHWs, Tanods, join our faculty, staff, and learners, demonstrating their ongoing commitment to our learners' education and welfare. We were also privileged to welcome Dr. Angustia C. Gotardo, our District In-Charge, whose inspiring presence and words set a wonderful tone of excellence and motivation for the entire school community.

Our first day was further graced by the presence of our dedicated Philippine National Police (PNP) personnel, ensuring a safe, secure, and orderly return to school for everyone. 👮‍♂️💙

To help our learners feel right at home, our wonderful teachers were officially presented so that the learners could get to know the dedicated teaching and non-teaching staff who will guide them this year. 👩‍🏫👨‍🏫

Excitement filled the air as we also distributed special giveaways to our early bird learners who arrived bright and early, eager to start their morning! 🎁⏰

An integral part of our morning was a short orientation designed to align everyone for the year ahead. We revisited DepEd's Vision and Mission, anchoring our goals in core values that put the learner first.

Parents and students were also briefed on the newly implemented Three-Term School Calendar, giving everyone a clear look at how our instructional blocks, academic pacing, and learners remediation are structured to maximize learning this school year. 📈📑

To our Learners:

📚🎨🧹 BRIGADA ESKWELA 2026 – DAY 5 🧹🎨📚

As we conclude Day 5 of Brigada Eskwela 2026, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all Grade 6 parents, teachers, other volunteers, stakeholders, and community partners who generously shared their time, effort, and resources to help prepare our school for the opening of classes.

Today's activities focused on the final touches in classroom preparation, school beautification, cleaning, repairs, and ensuring that our learning environment is safe, clean, and conducive to learning. Through the spirit of bayanihan, we have once again demonstrated that education is a shared responsibility.Brigada Kwentuhan was still conducted and enrollees were still welcomed.

🌱🌳 Hindang Central School Joins the Simultaneous Tree Planting Challenge 2026 🌳🌱

In support of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines – Leyte Council Memorandum No. 21, Series of 2026, Hindang Central School proudly participated in the Simultaneous Tree Planting Challenge in celebration of World Environment Day today, June 5,2026.

Led by our BSP Coordinator, Sir Domingo T. Almenie Jr., this meaningful activity brought together scouts, teachers, parents, and school personnel with a shared commitment to environmental conservation and sustainability. Through tree planting, we contribute to a greener environment, help combat climate change, and promote responsible stewardship of our natural resources.

🌱 Every tree planted today is a step toward a healthier and more sustainable future for the next generation.

The finish line is in sight! It was an incredibly productive Day 4 at Hindang Central School as our bayanihan spirit continues to shine. Today was a full-force effort across all fronts:

🪚 Facilities & Cleaning: Our dedicated parents of Grades Four and Five and other volunteers gave their time to paint, repair desks, and deep-clean classrooms and other areas in school.
📝 Ongoing Enrollment: Our enrollment desks remained open and busy, welcoming more learners into our school family for the upcoming year!
📚 Brigada Pagbasa: Our reading advocates and teachers kicked off meaningful reading sessions to ensure our learners are sharp, ready, and confident.

A huge thank you to everyone who sweated it out, enrolled their kids, and volunteered today. We are truly uniting for order and knowledge!🌟

The Hindang Central School family gathered for a special send-off early dinner at Dockside Seafood Restaurant to honor and express our deepest gratitude to Dr. Violeta Boldios .

Led by our Principal III, Dr. Clarissa Sebalda Gertos alongside the dedicated HCS faculty and staff, the moment was filled with delicious food, shared memories, and laughter. It was our simple way of saying thank you for the guidance, dedication, and inspiration she has shared with our district.

The bayanihan spirit is burning brighter than ever as we wrap up our third day of school preparation! Today, our school grounds were buzzing with energy, teamwork, and an incredible community spirit. 🤝✨

🎨 Grade 2 & 3 Parents Lead the Charge: A massive thank you to our wonderful Grade 2 and Grade 3 parents who stepped up for today's volunteer shift! From wiping desks to painting walls, your hard work is making our classrooms a second home for our learners.

📝 Enrollment & Reading Sessions Ongoing: We are still welcoming our enrollees! Alongside enrollment, our dedicated teachers continued their reading remediation sessions to ensure our kids are sharp and ready for the first day of classes. 📚✨

🙌 Youth Volunteers in Action: Age is just a number when it comes to helping out! We were thrilled to be joined by our energetic youth volunteers today. Thank you for bringing your bright energy and helping hands to our school community! 🧑‍🤝‍🧑⚡

🕵️‍♂️ A Special Visit: Today was made extra special as we welcomed monitors checking on our School Preparedness. We are proud to showcase the hard work of our community, ensuring that our school is safe, clean, and fully ready for our students!

Today, our school welcomed the Division Monitoring Team to evaluate Hindang Central School's overall preparedness and documentation for the upcoming school year. The division team was led by Team Leader Dr. Crisanto T. Daga, EPS, alongside Ma'am Necia R. Dedruda and the rest of the other Division Personnel.

During the visit, the monitoring team meticulously validated our readiness across multiple areas. They conducted a thorough inspection of our physical plant and safety preparedness, checking classrooms, facilities, and school grounds to guarantee a clean, secure, and welcoming environment for everyone. Alongside the physical checks, they verified our essential Brigada Eskwela documents—including resource mobilization logs, stakeholder attendance, and tracking forms—while reviewing our school action plans to ensure a seamless strategic roadmap for the opening of classes.
