In support of Division Memorandum No. 542, s. 2025 - TREE PLANTING with the Theme: "A GIFT OF LIFE" to promote environmental awareness and sustainability and with the mandate of Hinatuan South District office, Aloba Elementary School conducted the tree planting activity in the school ground today, Friday December 12, 2025. Exactly 50 seedlings with different species of fruit - bearing were planted. This activity is not just being simple tree planting we encourage everyone to take care of the environment and we will now require the learners to take care of and nurture the seedlings they planted until such time that they are grown. It also promotes volunteerism and expand their understanding of social responsibilities.
We are so grateful to the stakeholders, parents and school children who actively participated and support the initiative of the Department of Education - Surigao del Sur Division.

ALOBA ES FOURTH QUARTER NSED 2024

Division Memorandum No. 534, s. 2024 to conduct the Fourth Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill and in line with the campaign of the Department of Education in equipping the school children in instilling knowledge about proper response protocols such as the 3 important body position during an earthquake. These were the "DUCK , COVER and HOLD." School empower students to react swiftly and appropriately during disasters.
Connectively, Aloba Elementary School conducted the 4th quarter NSED dated November 14, 2024 at 2:00 in the afternoon during AESPTA Assembly of the school with the attendance of parents, teachers, school children together with the Education Committee, Hon. Donald Boots G. Bughao in Barangay Council of Loyola.
In summary, the drill was successfully conducted because the routines were systematic and everyone showed unity and cooperation.

On the 22nd day of April, Earth Day is celebrated worldwide, promoting support and protection for the Earth against harmful causes.

As pioneers in education, the DepEd Surigao del Sur Division is eager to participate in this annual event. Accordingly, there will be a synchronized activity for both public and private schools within the division.
