Tidman Elementary School extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Barangay Council headed by Hon. Roger P. Agorto, Punong Barangay; the Tidman Elementary School faculty and staff led by Ms. Marivic D. Sumagaysay, Principal II; the SPTA headed by Mr. Warren Agorto and the HRPTA officials; and the elected SELG leaders spearheaded by Matt Henrique D. Murio.

We gather here as we celebrate this Oath-Taking Ceremony. We come together not as separate groups, but as one team bound by a shared duty: to guide, support, and uplift every learner. The oath we take is the heart of this ceremony. Before our school, our parents, and our community, we pledge to serve with honesty, integrity, unity, and love for Tidman ES.

For the teachers, it is a vow to guide with patience. For the parents, a vow to support with sacrifice. For the learners, a vow to lead with discipline and courage. Different roles, one commitment.

Tidman Elementary School warmly welcomed School Year 2026โ€“2027 with hearts full of gratitude and hope. Under the leadership of our dedicated School Principal, Marivic D. Sumagaysay, emphasized that education is not merely about gaining knowledge inside the classroom, but a powerful foundation that shapes character, opens doors to opportunities, and empowers every child to build a brighter future.

She reminded everyone that true learning is a shared responsibility. One that requires the active partnership of teachers, parents, and the community. The entire faculty and staff gathered to extend a heartfelt message to all learners and their parents.

Together, they expressed their commitment to providing a safe, nurturing, and inspiring learning environment where every learner is encouraged to dream big, work hard, and value the gift of education as their greatest key to success.

Brigada Eskwela (June 1-5, 2026)
Theme: โ€œBayanihan sa Paaralan: Pagkakaisa Para sa Kaayusan at Kaalamanโ€

The first day of Brigada Eskwela 2026 formally commenced with an opening parade followed by a brief program. The activity began with an invocation, the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, and opening remarks by
PTA President Mr. Warren J. Agorto. This was followed by the checking of attendance and the reading of the Statement of Purpose.

A message was then delivered by School Principal Marivic D. Sumagaysay, who emphasized the significance of bayanihan and stakeholder engagement in preparing school facilities for the opening of School Year 2026โ€“2027. Hon. Ron Ron P. Mainit also gave a short talk and expressed his full support to the school. Likewise, City Savings Bank, represented by Mr. Ronald D. Osorio, donated 8 gallons of paint and paintbrushes for the schoolโ€™s improvement.

The Brigada Eskwela Pledge was led by Mr. Adam Cativo. Hon. Roger P. Agorto, Punong Barangay, also conveyed his message of support. He assigned volunteers to clean the school grounds and operate the grass cutter to ensure the safety of learners for the opening of classes. The program formally concluded with closing remarks by Hon. Nimfa S. Barrios.

An enrollment assistance booth was also set up to address inquiries and facilitate the enrollment of incoming Kindergarten, Grade 1, Grades 2โ€“6, and Balik-Aral learners. This initiative ensured that parents and guardians received timely guidance regarding enrollment requirements and procedures.

The dayโ€™s activities ended with a brief debriefing among school personnel and volunteers. The successful implementation of the program reflects the strong partnership between the school and its stakeholders. This collective effort greatly contributed to improving the schoolโ€™s physical facilities in preparation for the opening of classes.
