Tidman Elementary School

In line with Division Memorandum No. 542, s. 2025, 'TREE PLANTING: A GIFT OF LIFE', Tidman Elementary School conducted a tree planting activity today, December 12, 2025, at the school ground. Fifty seedlings were planted to promote environmental awareness and sustainability.

This initiative, mandated by the Hinatuan South District office, aims to instill a sense of responsibility among learners to care for the environment. They will nurture the seedlings they planted, fostering volunteerism and social responsibility.

We extend our gratitude to stakeholders, parents, and school children for their active participation and support, aligning with the Department of Education - Surigao del Sur Division's initiative. Thank you for your cooperation.

Tidman Elementary School held its Second Quarter Recognition Program on December 3, 2025. The event honored pupils who demonstrated academic excellence, outstanding performance, and exceptional talent. It recognized the efforts of learners who have shown significant improvement and achievements.

Learners were awarded certificates for their accomplishments, and entertained with festive performances. The event was a celebration of the pupils' hard work and dedication, and it motivated them to continue striving for excellence.

The Tidman Elementary School and faculty and Teaching Staff expressed their pride and appreciation for the learners achievements and encouraged them to keep up the good work.

Heartfelt thanks to our amazing parents and supporters for making the 2025 Ms. GSP and Mr. BSP Coronation Rites a triumph. Your financial and moral support were invaluable.

Tidman Elementary School successfully hosted a memorable BSP and GSP Backyard Camporal on November 19-21, 2025 with the theme: "Scouting: Strong Building Character, Leadership and Services among Scouts Through Innovative Scouting".

Distinguished guests Hon. Roger Agorto, Punong Barangay, and Hon. Nimfa S. Barrios, Education Committee Chairperson, graced the event. Together with the School BSP Coordinator Mr. Gabriel Palma and GSP Coordinator Mrs. Kristine May M. Tulang facilitated the activities, supported by School Principal II Ms. Marivic D. Sumagaysay, Tidman ES teachers, PTA Officials led by Mr. Warren Agorto, BSP and GSP campers.

This scouting event embodied Scouting's purpose: developing character, fostering leadership, promoting citizenship, and supporting personal growth, aiming to shape confident, responsible, caring, and active community contributors.

The conduct of First Aid Training on Fire Safety Emergency Preparedness and Bandaging to the GSP and BSP scouters of Tidman Elementary School by an active responders of Barangay Tidman Hon. Ronron P. Mainit, Mark John Beniga and Marc Roden Baring.

The training equips participants with the knowledge and confidence to respond to life-threatening emergencies.

The Division Festival of Talents (DFOT) held at San Miguel, Surigao Del Sur from November 10-13, 2025, was a significant event that showcased the talents and skills of learners.

Tidman Elementary School joyfully celebrated World Teachers' Day on October 3, 2025. The event, was graced by the presence of the Tidman Barangay Council, led by Punong Barangay Hon. Roger P. Agorto, and Education Committee Chairperson Hon. Nimfa S. Barrios. The school's PTA officials, headed by Mr. Warren Agorto, actively supported the celebration alongside enthusiastic parents and pupils.

The day was filled with love and joy as pupils prepared heartfelt presentations, thoughtful messages, and gifts to express their appreciation for their teachers. It was a wonderful occasion to celebrate the dedication and hard work of the Tidman ES faculty and staff.
