The WVSUโHCC Campus Student Council proudly extends its warmest congratulations to Cedric Sitjar, CSC Chairperson, on his election as Chairperson of the WVSU Federated Student Council, and to Eds Shanlymar Tan, CSC Vice Chairperson, on her election as FSC Auditor.
This marks as a historic milestone for WVSUโHCC, as Cedric Sitjar becomes the first student leader from the Himamaylan City Campus to be elected Chairperson of the WVSU Federated Student Council (FSC). In this capacity, he will also serve as the Student Regent on the WVSU Board of Regents for AY 2026โ2027, representing the voice and interests of the Universityโs student body at the highest policy-making body of WVSU.
Their election reflects the trust placed in their leadership, competence, and commitment to advancing student representation and welfare, while embodying the core values of excellence, creativity and innovation, and service.
As they take on these greater responsibilities, may they continue to lead with purpose, uphold the interests of the student body, and foster meaningful collaboration, inclusive representation, and stronger student governance throughout WVSU.
