π₯πππ | Project MATHATAG Launches to Transform Math Learning in Himamaylan City through Singapore Math Approach
HIMAMAYLAN CITY, August 17, 2026 β The Schools Division Office of Himamaylan City, in partnership with West Visayas State University β Himamaylan, successfully conducted the MOA Signing, Orientation of Stakeholders, and Project Launching of Project MATHATAG: Empowering Educators in Himamaylan City to Transform Math Learning Through the Singapore Math Block Model Approach at the SDO Conference Hall.
The activity marked a significant milestone in strengthening mathematics education by equipping educators with innovative and effective approaches to teaching and learning. Through the Singapore Math Block Model Approach, Project MATHATAG seeks to enhance teachers' instructional practices and help learners develop deeper mathematical understanding through concrete, pictorial, and abstract learning experiences.
The MOA Signing formally strengthened the partnership between the Schools Division Office of Himamaylan City and West Visayas State University β Himamaylan, while the orientation provided stakeholders with a clearer understanding of the project's objectives, implementation, and shared responsibilities.
