A homecoming filled with inspiration! 💫

Grade 12 Academic Track learners of 𝗛𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘆𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 (𝗛𝗡𝗛𝗦) gained valuable insights into college life and opportunities through an orientation on 𝗔𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗼 𝗱𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗮 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗔𝗗𝗠𝗨) led by former HNHS STEM student 𝗘𝗹𝘆𝘇𝗮 𝗝𝗼𝘆 𝗣. 𝗥𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘀, Batch 2021.

A former highest honors student, Rallos returned to her alma mater to share her journey—from being an 𝗛𝗡𝗛𝗦 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗠 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 and 𝗔𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗼 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿 to becoming a 𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝘀𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗻 and now a 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗳𝗳 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗼 𝗱𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗮 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆. 👩‍🎓✨

During the orientation, she introduced Ateneo’s three core principles: 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆, 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗢𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵, inspiring students to explore their interests, embrace opportunities, and continuously develop themselves.

She also discussed Ateneo’s Core Curriculum, leadership opportunities, student organizations, campus life, and the college admission process, including application requirements, deadlines, and the 𝗔𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁 (𝗔𝗖𝗘𝗧). Students were also given information about provincial testing centers in Luzon and Visayas.

The activity concluded with an open forum where learners had the chance to ask questions. Interestingly, some students who were initially hesitant to speak during the forum approached Rallos afterward to personally ask about Ateneo and other college opportunities. 💬

The visit also became a meaningful reunion between Rallos and her former STEM teachers, who were proud to see how far their former student has come.

𝗥𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘀’ 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗲’𝘀 𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀. Through hard work, perseverance, courage, and a willingness to embrace opportunities, she transformed her aspirations into achievements. More importantly, her experience shows that 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗛𝗡𝗛𝗦. Rallos’ story encourages today’s learners to pursue their goals with determination and look forward to the many possibilities that await beyond high school.🌱🎓
