With the Vice Mayor of Himamaylan City, HON. JUSTIN DOMINIC S. GATUSLAO, as the honorary Inducting Officer, the newly-elected SSG Officers for SY 2020-2021 took their oath of office before the students, guests, and teachers of Himamaylan National High School today, March 9.

The SSG COMELEC has been very grateful to the Vice Mayor for gracing the Induction and Oath-Taking Ceremony with his presence, as well as for sharing his time and captivating words of inspiration to the whole community, especially to the newly-inducted aspiring young leaders under the leadership of SSG President, MS. MERRYL T. MEDINA, and under the advisory of the newly-elected SSG Advisers, MR. BENHUR P. DORONILA, and MR. ANTHONY P. GRAN, JR.

In addition, the organization would also like to thank the Special Program for the Arts (SPA) students, under the supervisory of MR. ELJAY BRILLANTES, for rendering such a powerful dance number, and MR. RALPH B. MATAWHAY, JR. for hosting the said event.

May the good Lord bless our new caliber of student leaders with great courage and admirable wit in the service.

SUCCESS. The success of an organization lies on the hands not only of the people who are in it but also of the people who surround and give constant support to it.

With this, the SSG COMELEC would like to thank Sir Sixto S. Vallejera, the school principal, and the administration, as a whole, for the full support they have extended through providing everything to the organization.

Special thanks also to Sir Noli P. Diogenes, who has shared his expertise in the planning and making the Grand Rally of Electoral Candidates a success, and to Vyenge Erre Gayosa for hosting the aforementioned event.

The SSG COMELEC also expresses its heartfelt gratitude to the teachers, staff, and students of Himamaylan National High School for the consideration and support they have shown to the various activities of the organization in the entire election period.

Indeed, it has been an honor to be in the service of providing an avenue for our future leaders to be heard and be given the opportunity to lead.

Thus, the SSG COMELEC can now say: "Congratulations to the newly elected SSG Officers for SY 2020-2021! See you in the next SSG Election, folks."
