𝗪𝗩𝗦𝗨-𝗛𝗖𝗖 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘆 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝗻𝘀 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘀 𝗗𝗿. 𝗔𝗹𝗺𝗮𝗿 𝗝. 𝗝𝗮𝘃𝗮 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗡𝗥𝗖𝗣

In a proud moment for West Visayas State University – Himamaylan City Campus, Dr. Almar J. Java officially took his oath as an Associate Member of the National Research Council of the Philippines (NRCP) during a formal ceremony held at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City, Metro Manila. The recognition marks a significant milestone not only in Dr. Java's academic career but also in the research development of the university.

The NRCP, an advisory body under the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), plays a crucial role in advancing scientific and scholarly research across the Philippines. By bringing together distinguished researchers from various disciplines, the council supports the growth of knowledge and innovation that contributes to national development. Being selected as a member signifies a researcher's outstanding contribution and potential in their respective field.

For WVSU-HCC, Dr. Java's appointment carries historic importance. He is the first faculty member from the campus to become part of the prestigious national research council, an achievement that reflects the institution's growing commitment to academic excellence and research productivity. His membership highlights the expanding role of regional universities in contributing meaningful research to the country's scholarly community.

Beyond personal recognition, Dr. Java's accomplishment serves as an inspiration to fellow educators, students, and aspiring researchers in the campus.
