The Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd) Division of West Visayas State University–Himamaylan City Campus (WVSU-HCC) held its first general assembly on August 10, 2026, to outline departmental activities, address student concerns, and foster greater student participation.

BPEd students across all year levels attended the assembly, facilitated by Program Chair Christian Loberas, together with other faculty members, to discuss leadership initiatives, upcoming activities, and key departmental matters.

A major highlight of the gathering was the election of new BPEd officers, offering students the opportunity to exercise their right to vote and choose representatives to lead and serve the department. Students also actively participated in discussions regarding the proposed BPEd department shirt, sharing their preferences and ideas to contribute to the final decision.

Furthermore, Sir Christian V. Loberas tasked the third-year BPEd students with leading the planning and preparation for the upcoming pinning ceremony for fourth-year students. He also urged all BPEd students, especially the freshmen to broaden their horizons and take a more active role in campus activities.

Beyond the formal agenda, the assembly provided a valuable space for students to interact, converse, and build stronger connections with their peers. Overall, the meeting emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation in building a more cohesive and active BPEd community.

Please be informed of the official BPEd Uniform Guidelines outlined below.

All 2nd to 4th year students are expected to strictly comply with the uniform policy starting August 3, 2026.

Meanwhile, first-year students are advised to wait for the official announcement from the Office of Student Affairs regarding the official start of wearing the school uniform. Until then, you may attend your classes in decent civilian attire in accordance with the University Student Handbook. However, if you already have the prescribed school uniform, you are encouraged to wear it.

Please take time to review the guide and ensure that uniforms are worn properly with pride and discipline.
