MLGCL Strengthens Partnerships to Advance an MLG SAFE Community
In line with its commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and learner centered environment, MLG College of Learning Inc., through its Student Affairs and Services (SAS) Team, successfully spearheaded the Child Protection Committee (CPC) Stakeholders' Meeting and Partnership Building on July 29, 2026.
The activity brought together the School Director, School Principal, SAS Coordinator, Student Welfare Services Coordinator, College Dean, SDRRM Officer, GPTA President, Teacher and Faculty Representatives, and the Supreme Student Council Presidents from both the High School and College Departments. Joining them were partner stakeholders from the Philippine National Police (PNP), Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWD), Municipal Health Office (MHO), and the Barangay Council, strengthening collaboration in safeguarding the welfare and rights of every learner.
The meeting focused on the School Child Protection Committee composition, the DepEd Child Protection Policy, referral and reporting mechanisms, and the commitment of stakeholders to work together in creating a more responsive child protection system.
Through this initiative, MLGCL continues to champion the vision of an MLG SAFE Community, where every learner is Safe, Accepted, Free from harm, and Empowered. By strengthening partnerships and promoting shared responsibility, the institution reaffirms its commitment to ensuring that every student learns and grows in a secure and supportive educational environment.
