With grateful hearts, Hampangan National High School proudly celebrates another milestone as Third Place Winner in the Gulayan sa Paaralan Contest during the 52nd Nutrition Month Culmination Program with the theme, "Nutrisyon at Kalikasan: Ating Pangalagaan!"

This achievement reflects the dedication, teamwork, and commitment of our school community in promoting nutrition, environmental stewardship, and sustainable gardening. Every seed planted, every hour spent preparing our garden, and every helping hand contributed to this success.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to our Gulayan sa Paaralan Coordinator, Mrs. Fatima C. Fortaliza, for her unwavering dedication and leadership. We also extend our sincere appreciation to our School Head, Mr. Nelson C. Faller, for his continuous support and encouragement.

The Provincial and Municipal Department of Agriculture Validation Team successfully conducted the evaluation and validation of our Gulayan sa Paaralan Program, recognizing our school's unwavering commitment to promoting food security, environmental stewardship, and nutrition education through sustainable gardening.

This achievement would not have been possible without the collective efforts of our dedicated stakeholders. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Gulayan sa Paaralan Coordinator, Mrs. Fatima C. Fortaliza, for her exceptional leadership and commitment in spearheading this initiative. We also sincerely thank our hardworking parents and students who generously shared their time, energy, and resources in preparing and maintaining the school garden.

Our deepest appreciation goes to our supportive School Head, Mr. Nelson C. Faller, whose steadfast guidance and encouragement have been instrumental in the success of this program. Hampangan National High School proudly unveils its School Pergolaโ€”more than just a structure, it is a symbol of our unwavering commitment to elevate the quality of education for the community we serve.

Though we are considered a last-mile school, we remain steadfast in our mission of providing a home for learning for the least, the last, and the lost. This new landmark stands as a testament that no distance, challenge, or circumstance can hinder our dedication to nurturing every learner who walks through our gates.

Today, Hampangan National High School finally has a landmark that truly represents its identity. For years, many visitors had difficulty locating our school, and some even mistook it for a copra bodega. With the construction of this school pergola, our campus now has a recognizable symbol that proudly tells everyone: This is Hampangan National High Schoolโ€”a place where dreams are nurtured, futures are built, and hope is cultivated.

This milestone would not have been possible without the generosity and support of many people. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Batch 2025โ€“2026 for their invaluable contribution and to the School Management, headed by Mr. Nelson C. Faller, for allocating a portion of the 3rd Quarter School MOOE to finance this meaningful project. Your trust, commitment, and shared vision have transformed an idea into a lasting legacy for our learners and the entire community.

Safety is a shared responsibility. Today marks another significant milestone as our school officially strengthens its partnership with the Barangay Council in its commitment to ensuring a safe and secure learning environment for all.

Our heartfelt gratitude to the Barangay Hampangan Council headed by Hon. Mirasol L. Vallentos, Barangay Captain, and the Barangay Tanod headed by Mr. Florencio Dayot, Barangay Tanod Chief, for their unwavering support and commitment to the welfare of our learners, teachers, and the entire school community.

Through this collaboration, the Barangay Council will assign a Barangay Tanod every Monday to Friday to assist our school security guard in maintaining peace, order, and safety within the school premises throughout the day. This proactive initiative reflects our shared dedication to preventing untoward incidents and creating a secure environment where learning can thrive.
