House of MATHemagicians, in collaboration with MAPEH Club, invites everyone to visit our food booth and enjoy the STREET FOOD CULTURE in celebration on SPVAI's 25th Founding Anniversary!

MATH TRAIL 2022

Happening on November 10, 2022, the objectives of the Math Trail 2022 are as follows:

a. provide an in-depth experience to students to learn mathematics in a collaborative manner;
b. develop speed and precision in data gathering, measurement, and following instructions;
c. improve students' higher-order thinking skills through games and problem-solving; and
d. cultivate students' natural math abilities through exploration and discovery.

Participants must be a team of 6 students, 1 student from each grade level (Grade 7-12), Math Club Member or Non-member.

The competition comprises 5 checkpoints or stops: stations containing different data or important information needed to answer a particular problem. Every team must get whatever data/ information each station may provide or suggest.

a. Checkpoint 1: Level 1 Mathematical Equation
b. Checkpoint 2: Rubik’s Cube
c. Checkpoint 3: Level 2 Mathematical Equation
d. Checkpoint 4: Sudoku Puzzle
e. Checkpoint 5: Problem Solving

Registration for this team event is until November 9, 2022, 3:00 PM only.
