Alalahanin natin ang katapangan, sakripisyo, at kabayanihan ng mga sundalong Pilipino at Amerikano noong Ikalawang Digmaang Pandaigdig. Lalo na sa bayan ng Bataan, kung saan sa kabila ng kakulangan sa kagamitan at matitinding pagsubok, sila ay matapang na lumaban at nagpakita ng pambihirang katatagan at diwa ng pagkakaisa.🤝

Bilang mga BulSUans, nawa’y isabuhay natin ang diwa ng kagitingan sa ating pang-araw-araw na gawain—sa pamamagitan ng integridad, malasakit, at taos-pusong pagmamahal sa bayan at sa ating unibersidad. ❤️📘

40 years ago, history was made through the power of unity during the EDSA People Power Revolution.

Also called the Yellow Revolution, this peaceful movement showed the world that change doesn’t always need violence; sometimes, it just needs brave hearts standing together. ✊

After years under the rule of Ferdinand Marcos, millions of Filipinos gathered along EDSA in February 1986 to call for democracy. In just four days, the world witnessed a peaceful transition of power. Marcos and his family fled to Hawaii, and Corazon Aquino became the 11th President of the Philippines. 🇵🇭

We should commemorate this day not just as a holiday, but as a day of remembrance, reflection, and responsibility.

The EDSA People Power Revolution reminds us that freedom was not freely given; it was fought for through unity, courage, and peaceful action. 🕊️

May this day inspire us, especially as BulSUans, to value democracy, stand for truth, and honor the past by being responsible citizens today. 💙
