𝐇𝐍𝐇𝐒 𝐊𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐚 𝐇𝐀𝐀 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔; 𝟓𝟓 𝐆𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨, 𝐍𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐤𝐢𝐭

HAGONOY, DAVAO DEL SUR — Muling pinatunayan ng Hagonoy National High School (HNHS) ang husay at galing sa larangan ng palakasan matapos ideklara bilang Overall Champion sa katatapos na Hagonoy Athletic Association Meet 2026 noong Agosto 16 sa HNHS Gym.

Umabot sa 55 gintong medalya ang nasungkit ng delegasyon ng HNHS, sapat upang manguna sa kabuuang medal tally at makamit ang kampeonato sa naturang paligsahan.

Nakuha naman ng Holy Cross of Hagonoy ang 1st Runner-Up matapos makapagtala ng 13 gintong medalya, habang pumangalawa sa likod nito ang Sacub National High School na may 11 ginto. Nagtapos namang 3rd Runner-Up ang Lapulabao National High School na may limang gintong medalya.

Masayang tinanggap ni Dr. Elpidio Ortega, Principal III/Assistant Principal for Senior High School, kasama si Mrs. Elenita Merka, HNHS Sports Coordinator, ang Certificate of Recognition para sa paaralan.

Ayon kay Sir Ortega, hindi lamang talento ang naging susi sa tagumpay ng kanilang mga atleta. Malaki rin aniya ang naging bahagi ng pagsisikap at disiplina ng mga coach at atleta, gayundin ng pagtutulungan at pagkakaisa ng buong teaching at non-teaching personnel ng HNHS.

Naging matagumpay naman ang isinagawang closing ceremony na pinangunahan ni Delegation Head Sir Roderick Vilan, katuwang si Mrs. Marites U. Abucejo, Public Schools District Supervisor ng Hagonoy 2.

Dumalo rin sa seremonya ang mga punong-guro mula sa elementarya at sekondarya, tournament managers, officiating officials, qualified coaches, at mga atletang lumahok sa paligsahan.

Sa pagtatapos ng programa, binati ni Sir Vilan ang lahat ng coach at atleta na nakakuha ng kwalipikasyon para sa susunod na hamon ang Davao del Sur Athletic Association Meet 2026, na gaganapin sa Setyembre 3 hanggang 7 sa Malalag, Davao del Sur.

📚 HAGONOY NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL CELEBRATES BUWAN NG KASAYSAYAN AT BUWAN NG ASEAN 2026 🌏

The Hagonoy National High School – Araling Panlipunan Department, headed by Sir Rommel Raut, AP Coordinator, conducted the celebration of Buwan ng Kasaysayan and Buwan ng ASEAN today, August 17, 2026, during the Flag Ceremony at the HNHS Oval.

The celebration aims to promote appreciation of Philippine history, strengthen awareness of our nation’s rich cultural heritage, and foster understanding of ASEAN’s shared history, culture, values, and cooperation among its member countries.

Through these celebrations, learners are encouraged to value the lessons of the past, appreciate cultural diversity, and become more informed and responsible citizens who contribute to a united and progressive community.
